I'd sure like to see Paddock's account stats for the last three years. That would tell a lot. But casinos would not release them. Nothing for them to gain, but potentially a LOT to lose.
My guess is the guy was going downhill financially. And for some people, that is completely unacceptable and never their own fault. He obviously and admittedly hated being social and around people. He seemed to be the type that was bothered by people. That could have been a issue fostered from when his father ran off to prison, and his mother lied to the kids to cover up the horrible truth. He didn't want kids of his own. Not difficult to see why.
Somewhat like his father, he appears to have posessed a similar desire to become something larger than the average person he was. Take a minute and use one of the online inflation calculators. $11,000 in 1959 is about $190,000 in today's money. That is the amount his father stole at gunpoint from a Arizona bank. There were even MORE robberies after that....so obviously the father put money and glory ahead of his own wife and kids well-being. The genuine hallmark of a true Piece of S&&#. So it isn't a huge surprise that his oldest son would also inherit some of these same characteristics.

The only way someone could possibly plan out an act this horrific over a period of months (or years).....is if he felt justified. Hard to imagine the level of hatred he held against people ...... and never dealt with it honestly in 60+ years. We cannot imagine the eternal hell that guy sentenced himself to.

The whole story is bizarre and we're not being told all that really happened.

People might be trying to cover tracks but they've already walked the shit everywhere.

The police are inept..they couldn't even figure out when the guy checked into the fucking hotel. Mandalay bay had better security and has done a better job of investigating compared to the police but again we have some love affair with the first responders (who actually aren't even the first to respond)

Can the court system confiscate all his real estate and all his supposedly millions that the fake news is reporting how successful this lunatic was and have it all given to the victims families instead of the brother which I still don't trust

Do you mean the same security that allowed a guy to check in with 10+ heavy weapons and hundreds of rounds of ammunition? That security team?

Pandoras box is getting opened if you wanna throw blame on the hotel for not checking the guys bags. With that attitude you wont be able to wipe your ass without being vetted first..

Got it but don't pretend Mandalay Bay was the equivalent to the security at the White House with what they let into that casino.

Pretty funny post right here. You think private businesses have the right to search and seizure? Are you aware of what country you live in, or any scant understanding of the basic foundations of either Constitutional or state/ fed law? Seriously, Google is your friend

Huh? any private company has the right to set up whatever security and checks they want and can deny you entry into their business. I'm not saying they can go in and search your bags etc. but they absolutely have the right to force you to consent to a search if you want to enter their business.

Security dudes at bars do it all the time.

What are pushing some conspiracy agenda!? The guy was a regular guest and also gambled there. He stayed 3 nights there. Any idiot could get those bags in the room without suspicion over 3 days. Go in different entrance, different elevator he was just a regular client to this point. Not the hotels fault. Stop pushing whatever agenda you have.

I also read the room was comped.

I don't believe in conspiracies

A previous poster was talking about Mandalay Bay security being better than the first responders effort. That's all.
