Can anyone please explain to me why right now at this moment you would rank dallas over the redskins. Yes the redskins lost to a horrible team but they did lose in the last 2 mins and won almost every stat category except the most important one turnovers. There other loss is too a team everyone is claiming the best the giants. So they have a bad loss and a loss to the best team. But dallas on the other hand has lost to the redskins and lost to arizona, they lost another corner today for 4 games, they have another one out a month, there qb is out for 4 games, there explosive rookie that has scored a few tds is out for a month and dont forget the horrible bengals gave dallas a run for there money a few weeks ago.

I think that JC is playing way over his head. He has done "enough" to win games and had a few good outings. I think that his decision making is suspect and the only reason that he has had as much success is cause Jim Zorn has been giving him fairly safe plays. I think that Zorn will become a great coach with experience but they are in trouble at the QB position. JC has had some very good numbers but he hasn't convinced me that he is an "elite" QB yet.
If skins had Favre, they would've been scary good. In a few years when Zorn has some more experience, then I think the skins will be VERY good....(with either a new QB or a greatly improved JC).
It's simple. I just look at the rosters and think if I am an owner which team would I rather have. My answer is the Dallas Cowboys, and it's not even close. By far the most talented team in the league, even if they don't show it all the time. Indy might be close just because Manning is so damn dominant when he's on (which is most of the time). If that defense steps up we could be looking at an absolutely amazing Super Bowl between Dallas and Indy.

I do agree with you shdw01 I also dont believe in JC, and I do believe zorn is doing a very good job asking jason campbell to just manage the game, and you can tell that by his play calling. One thing I dont like is the fact that playing like that is how the redskins will lose games. This week was a perfect example of us not going for the kill and playing not to lose. They never throw deep or try to go for the kill, we just play it safe. Everyone hates the patriots but the patriots last year put teams away in the 1st half and I wish we had a qb where we could play like that and have no chance of losing games in the closing seconds. Also zorn has done a great job this year but dont discount the real reason we are winning, portis is running like a mad man. If he continues to run for over 100 yds a game campbell wont need to do much. And also the defense is playing spectacular. They held the rams to 4 fg's. That usually equals a win. The only TD this weekend was off an offensive mistake. Also think about the offenses the defense have held down to minimal scoring. The eagles, cowboys, giants, saints, and cards. Some of the highest power offenses in the league. Like I said im a redskin homer, I do believe we make the playoffs but I think we eventually fall short, somewhere around the 2nd or 3rd round of the playoffs. But back to the original posters question, who do you think is the best 3 teams in football TODAY. On a neutral site if the redskins are playing dallas tomorrow with all there injuries, dont tell me your picking dallas. Whats so great about them, that secondary that is getting torched every week or there offensive line this week that on romos first 20 dropbacks he got hit on 12 of them. Today I pick the redskins over dallas and my first 5 would be tenn, pitt, giants, redskins and the buccs. Out of those 5 teams I really only truly believe about 2 of them deserve to be there but as of today those are what I could argue are the top 5. As we all know it can change after this sunday.
