Duke in bottom half of Defensive rankings. Oregon top 50 in offensive rankings. Obv very simple analysis, but Oregon has a fantastic offense and especially coming off a rough performance against St. Joes are very likely to have a better shooting game. Meanwhile Duke Defense is abysmal (See Yale comeback last week) and Ducks should have no problems putting up 80+. Good luck.....

duke is 0-4 when playing on the west coast in the tourney, the oregon press imo is the swing thing in this game for the winner

Coach K went on quite a little rant about this "no wins on the west coast" thing today. He's probably right that it's coincidental and shouldn't factor into the analysis of the game. I'm sure they've done everything necessary to physically adapt to the time change. I'll be more concerned about Duke fatigue if they get to the Elite Eight. By all accounts they really lost their legs in only their second game in the ACC tournament--if I recall correctly, they gave up something like 16 consecutive points to ND late in the second half. Fatigue also have been a factor in the second half of the Yale game, and the accumulated tournament travel may not help with a bench that isn't particularly deep. I'm actually a Duke fan and hope they win if they make it to Saturday, but it'll be hard for me to pull the trigger on them then.
