If the 2006 Super Bowl doesn't convince everyone that a NFL game with millions of people watching around the world can be rigged than I don't know of any other game that will. I won with pittsburgh but was so disgusted with the game that I did not watch the nfl for 2 seasons.. (still think about this game when I watch or bet even now)
roethlisberger had a terrible day statiscally with 0 td and 2 int,,,, seattle won the turnover difference,,, I can't find the penalty totals but after the game the seattle coach said " i didn't know we had to beat the refs too"
Seattle led or was close to pitt in every category in this game,,,pitt out rushed them by 44 yards,,but the per rush yardage was equal at 5.5 yards per carry,,, pitt had 14 first downs for the whole game
penalties don't look like much on paper,,,,, seattle 7-70,,, pitt 3-20,,,,,but seattle penalties came at key moments,,, i believe the first one was a bogus pass interference,,,, once again i had pitt
Combine this with mark cuban in 2003 I believe,,stating that a lot of nba games are predetermined,,,,and a nba ref that got caught manipulating games,,and now some tennis games reported being fixed,,,,and a long history of boxing being fixed,,, one cannot ignore the possibility of betting on an event that could have some manipulation involved,,,trying to figure out which side could be manipulated is part of the whole handicapping process for me which greatly includes fading public perception and line moves..,,,(which ironically all seem to go together in high volume bet games)
