ole miss hype is making me sick. i am near a bunch of those wanna bes and they are swallowing a Nutt if you know what i mean. They were sloppy against a SHITTY Memphis team and that score is not indicative of the game. We may get some line value with them early on. You are exactly right. I had Mem +17 and would play it the same way again. They let that game get away late. Let's see what Tenn can do, they are a wildcard. Will do! :toast:

No, not at all! I am basing this on them having the athletes and the coaching to win at least 9 this year. Chizik has been one of the best D coordinators of our time and what Malzahn did at Arkansas and last year at Tulsa was phenominal! Auburn's morale was down last year because the entire lame duck coaching staff completely quit on them! Now they have been forgotten about because of their implosion last year. This team has plenty of weapons and outstanding coaches! GL Bama fan!!:toast:

you may be right about auburn, we'll see, but ole miss is for real..I seriously think nutt is one of the best coaches in football...when has he ever NOT produced? I can't believe arkansas let that bunch of crazy-ass moms run him out of town! The struggles against memphis early on were clearly 1st game jitters for snead, with some BAD misfires..but those first three quarters will be the last we see of that. They are getting a bit too much hype tho, but I'd say they are the 2nd best team in the west behind bama, and will give them a real good game.

I don't want to get too excited, but AU looked better than they ever did last year. Depth on D is going to be an issue, but they looked solid.

Dead on w/ Mcallebb. I thought he was going to be a breakout player in the SEC this year after his spring.

THIS is what the offense was SUPPOSED to be last year. Get the ball to the athletes:

Fannin 8 catches, 2 RB's w/ 100 yds. Darvin Adams steps up, Zachary w/ longest pass play in AU history. Benton and Blake looked talented.

I need to see them play well against some SEC schools. La Tech isn't at that caliber, but they aren't a Monroe or Jackson St either, they looked like a competent team.
