wil and general...........if your going to single out someone for using alleged stale numbers, then you should take a visit to the capper forums where i am sure you will find your share of bogus bets and numbers that never existed.....

i think most posters are smart enough (actually they arent) to take the best number available.....regardless of what someone posts as the number they got....cappers who post early in the week are stuck with opening numbers, which can look like ridiculous numbers by gt...

normally if a pick is posted at a questionable number........the normal response is "where is that number available?"

not those are bogus numbers.........

raiders posted bad numbers and now he is acting like a spoiled child in the middle of walmart, a store i'm sure he frequents daily, give it a break... bears +11 was not readily available at 12:20pm this afternoon nor where many of his other stated lines.. does it matter?? not really, does anyone care about raiders selections?? no.. But this child would have been all over anyone else for doing the same BS.. yet, he cannot take his medicine when he is out of line...........

Dime - I guess you don't get it either. I simply am trying to educate Raiders how to post plays. I never doubted or stated that he did not somewhere bet or at least see the lines he posted. I am sure they existed at some book at one time or another.. My point is if you are going to take the Giants (example) plus 7.5 then let people know where they can play that number. To recommend plays at numbers that are not consensus then it is a must to qoute the source of the number. Granted there are plenty of posters doing the same thing in the other sport forums, unfortunately I have not been able to address every instance. I try to do my best with picks that show up in the Offshore forum, and happened to notice this thread today here in the Rubber Room so I made my original post. Think about the motivation to post plays to begin with - to offer your opinion to others but if that opinion is impossible to follow what good is it? This is really easy to do:

Giants +7.5 -110 1 unit (My Bookie).
Raiders -2 -110 2 units (ASAP)

Raiders - you of all people should know better than to post unbetable lines. Now don't go telling me that they were betable after you posted unless you posted where they could be bet at that time. Again I say learn how to post and others will give you much more respect (if that is what you are looking for).

Wil- Once again I made all these plays. Then I posted all my plays at the line I got. If posters can't figure out how to get the best line then I suggest they subscribe to a line service.

Wil- The last thing I'm looking for is respect from posters here at the RX.If you guys can't figure out how to get the lines that I got today there's nothing that I can learn from any of you.

I was hoping that there may be some educated gamblers out there that I could share information with. That's my goal.

Raiders - do yourself and anyone interested in your picks a favor by posting where your play at number is available. Especially if the number is not PAINTED like the Rams game was at post time (save Bodog). I think you know what I mean, to come in here with some kind of chronology of line movements now prooves nothing, I wish I had made my original post earlier than 1PM EDT so you would have had a chance to let people know where thay could have bet those numbers before the games kicked. As far as the bashers go I don't see why you include me in that category, simply offering constructive criticism.

What is wrong with:

No for nothing Raiders but those lines look like a wish list of numbers. Maybe a few might be available somewhere (Bodog) but not many.

Raiders sure you may have seen those lines somewhere during the week but what good do they do anyone less than an hour before game time. I played the Jets early in the week -5 does that make it alright for me to come on here and say hey everyone play the Jets today -5? If you want to post plays then do it right. Post a betable line and qoute the source or don't look for any kind of credibility from me. You wonder why people bash you, well this thread is a perfect reason. I went through the exact same thing with our friend Frogman. Post plays that no one else can bet then claim to be a big winner. BTW. I have been a Don Best customer since the early 90's and do know where to find lines.

FWIW - I am not here to bash anyone (even the Frog) I just think that when handicappers post plays for posters to follow or even fade - a capper should use numbers that are availabe then and there at that moment of the post. Including where the number can be found is also important. Sure I could say take the Niners plus 4.5 for two units (source: my local) but what good is it to anyone?

So I guess you think I am picking on you. Sorry you feel that way but I really don't moderate the sport forums much. I happened to see your post and my first thought was whats up whith these numbers? So I mentioned to you they looked like a wish list. Judging from the lines available to me at that very moment it was the only conclusion I could make. I took the time to check everyone and not one (of the 1PM games) was availabe on Rx. Live Lines at 1PM EDT (again save Bodog which I mentioned).

As far as asking where you got your line goes, it was already 1PM when I made my post which was right after I read your post for the first time. The games were kicking off as I typed.

Dime - I am not sure what you are talking about to be honest - No way I am trying to be a wiseass with Raiders - sorry you feel that way.

Holy sh*t you aren't talking about bets. You guys just play to play. I can care less about records. I make bets and then posted what I played.

Kodiak lies about my record daily just check this thread. I could care less about what Kodiak and his ghosts post about my record.

I didn't realize you guys posted plays but didn't actually put something down on the game.

When I'm in contests I get tracked by TRK or Heatwave. I came in first in NCAA football in 2003 and 2nd in baseball in 2003 overall at the RX.

The plays today were real not play.
