Look for the big line of Iowa defensively, and the fast linebackers to give Georgia Tech's run oriented option offense fits. Georgia Tech's defense is one of the worst defenses in the top 25 this year. Iowa should be able to score in the mid 20's to 30's on this defense, and I see Iowa's defense keeping G.T. in check throughout the night, should be a well fought game, but I'll take the points...

Chippewas of Middle (Central) Michigan -3
This is Dan Lefevour's last game. Look for the NCAA All time Touchdown leader to go out with a bang. Lefevour is big buddies with his offensive line, a true unit, this unit will protect Lefevour and give him plenty of time to find open recievers. The weather will be frigid tonight for an Alabama game, this will fall into the Chippewas favor. CMU's replacement coach is also a 30 year veteran, this replacement was very smooth and will not factor into any kind of negative towards them. Troy has a smooth passing game but they lost alot of weapons from last year's squad. I see CMU winning the game by 14. Look for the dog to come inside tonight and get out of the cold...no barking tonight!

Let me start off as saying I'm a huge Alabama fan...
With that being said...I rarely bet on the Tide.
This is the most focused team I have ever seen heading into the national championship game...
I see Terrence Cody having little impact on the game...but the Alabama coaches rotating in more skilled D-lineman to get more of a rush on the Tejas passing game.
Alabama's offense will suprise many people tonight by scoring 30+ against Texas's less than impressive defense. Will Muschamp is more hype than bite, he has become famous with his blitz schemes, which Bama will counter with screen passes and draws.
Look for this game to be one side throughout...
