I'd be shocked if this happens.

And why in the hell would Fisher leave FSU? He's making $5 million. He recruits as well as anyone other than Saban and Meyer. And competes in the ACC. He's on easy street.

During the past several years there has been unconfirmed rumors that Miles is suffering from the debilitating affects of Hemorrhoids.......Painful little bastards that can affect the way a man walks. The procedure to remove them is sometimes referred to as "brain surgery" in some circles; the operation can lay a man up for several weeks with rehab involved. Sadly, they can re-occur after they are removed. For the hell-of-it, I plan to observe how he walks on the side-line the next time an LSU game is on TV.

yeah, the whole buy out thing isn't that big of a factor. As noted above, once Miles gets another job, LSU is absolved of the buy out. And, sometimes boosters either cover it or the hiring U puts the $ in that contract. It really isn't a big deal.

Bill Walsh believed that coaches should change jobs every 10 years or their team will tune them out, maybe it is time for Les to go.

Not all buyouts are structured to offset by the next job's income. Many coaches have moved on to a job making as much or more and still drawing checks from the previous school. Also many times, a school and coaches agent can agree on a one time cash buyout instead of the scheduled payout over X amount of time, I think less is 8 years. And to be honest, I am not sure which one Less Miles contract is, is his buyout good up until the point he makes equivalent amount and LSU covers anything less to make up the difference (Ala Randy Shannon is STILL getting paid by Miami, I actually think this is the last season. Hence why he never took a HC gig. ) or is Miles contract one where he still receives a buyout regardless.

All that is fine, but the question is will his team play inspired for him this week?

This game has a lot of emotional ties to it - on the Mississippi side as well, with the LB Nkemdiche situation.
Originally, I agreed with the above poster that Miss should be able to stack the front and stop the run, making this a strong play for me.
But now I'm starting to have doubts.

No doubt about it.....Miles is suffering with Hemorrhoids; You can see it in his walk/gait and when he Grimaces.

Glad I stuck with my initial thought - Mississippi was one if the easiest wins of the day for me.
Game was never in doubt.
