And still standing, on accounta I get that this is a friendly casual waystation on a Sports Handicapping Forum.

Those who think it's something Awfully Serious are the ones who disappear or get banned for inappropriate use of the forum.

CGOLD registered about two months ago and will likely be long gone by early 2009. Here's hoping he actually chooses to contribute some useful Sports Investment information before he bails.

Aaron's Rents (RNT) is my humble offering as a company on the rise.

Their primary vehicle is Aaron's Sales & Leasing which provides consumer electronics, appliances and furniture marketed towards employed people who may not have the credit strength to buy at retail.

There are of course numerous companies nationwide which sell using this general approach, but Aarons is by far the industry leader with over 1500 stores.

52 week low was 13.27 this past January. High was 30.22 about three weeks ago.

Currently at 27.07


Rationale here is that the American consumer will continue to be stressed with regard to making purchases on credit and thus businesses like Aarons will be their best avenue.
