VIP Sports Las Vegas Review (Steve Stevens)
This is an in-depth review of vip sports. As a former client of theirs I feel I should inform others considering their services of what these guys are really all about. I’m writing this so that people like me that needed this type of review before signing up can make informed decision as to whether or not to invest with these guys. Feel free to share this post wherever you like. The more people that read this the better for all of us. Its good karma.
The main players:
Steve Stevens:
VIP Sports is a company run by Steve Stevens also known as Darin Notarro. He’s got a great on screen personality and is very charismatic guy as you can see on money talks show and podcast.
My experience: He came across as a ruthless business man all about getting that sale at all costs. This surprised me since he comes across as stand up guy on the show. He may or not have genuine information and contacts in sports world can’t know for sure. This is largely irrelevant as you won’t make money from this as the entire business model set up for you to lose long term. The cost of the service and commission make it mathematically absurd for you to win long term. He’s essentially a salesmen selling over priced picks. He was convicted for telemarketing fraud in the past.
Skipper:
The CFO is guy named skipper who you’ll also see on the podcast. In my experience he’s a super crafty guy I kinda feel sorry for anyone that decides to work with him. He doesn’t really care if you make money. It became quite clear he’s reading off a script or giving you canned responses after awhile. All the salesmen care about are there numbers on the end of week. Never forget that when talking to these guys.
Rest of salesmen:
Didn’t really deal with them much ones I did were complete idiots. (Stu) Just pressure selling trying to keep their job by making sales reading pre written sales pitch.
Podcast:
The podcast is mostly legit they give out legit sports betting information. You can really pick up a lot of information about handicapping successfully. They sometimes give out plays on podcast that do have a high strike rate in attempt to get you to sign up for packages. I say this reluctantly since I know they may read this but reason the podcast plays win is that Steve gives out his very best personal plays on there! I can confirm this as I’ve been on personal plays package while he gave out plays I paid for for free on podcast! He also gave out free winners he didn’t give out to paid clients! Wtf!
Despite the podcast being legit there’s few dirty tactics you guys need to be aware of:
Dirty tactic 1:
They’ll give out plays or make hints on the podcast and not actually bet those teams or plays. For example on the superbowl they suggested an over on the podcast but actually bet patriots to win. People were thanking them on youtube for the free winner but they never actually bet it lol.
Dirty tactic 2:
Steve will go on about how if you’d of bet such and such trend you’d be up x amount of units.... ?? then act like he’s been riding that team for a win streak. I’ve personally never seen any evidence of this. He certainly doesn’t do this on his personal plays, most of time your betting the complete opposite teams he mentions trending on the podcast!
They also con people when they say stuff like “nationals have been going under so Bet the under.” If the next under wins they’ll say see we told you to bet the under and take credit for the winner and try get you to phone in. If it loses they say “see you need to know when to jump in and out on trend call us for info” ??
They set themselves up to look right either way. It’s complete bull shit.
Dirty tactic 3:
They delete genuine comments from clients and claim it’s because of haters. One guy posted comment where he literally posted every play they gave him over 3 day weekend few days later comment had been deleted. I understand deleting hater or spam comments but when your deliberately hiding results your scamming people.
Overall view of the podcast:
? listen for entertainment
? Never phone in
? Take any Bonus Plays you get they have to be good in order to get you to sign up
? Any promotions that doesn’t involve personal play or game of year is literally throwing money in toilet for games you can get for free on twitter
? Ignore positive comments it’s a scam
VIP Sports Packages
Action Plays:
? Your basically paying money for crappy picks anyone could get off a random blog. The fact they even sell these is pretty ridiculous. It’s quite bold faced scam.
VIP Plays
? computerised stat plays that none of the sales men bet. What does that tell you? You can get better plays for free on twitter or you can pay $250 for same thing because you enjoyed hearing their pre written sales pitch.
Owner Selections:
These are Steve’s handicapped information games. They are divided like this.
2K Bets
5K Bets
7K Bets
They occasionally will throw in a 10K Bet if client is losing. From my experience long term these plays are trash. 2K bets sales men don’t bet and had losing record while I was with them. 5K are trash nothing and go on long losing runs. The 7K bets I had won and 10K long term were down slightly.
You can go on a very good run on owner selections if you get lucky and sign up at the right time. This can happen with any decent capper or just betting yourself. This is why you might find some former client singing there praises. (I never have) There’s nothing special about these plays. You can get them for 1/10th price on legit service. You’d be crazy to stake big money on these or pay 10k Steve’s asking for. That is a straight rip off. If you do decide to test them sign up during a promotion. Don’t be stupid enough to pay big money for these plays. You will be forced to bet big amounts to pay off the cost of the service and get ******.
Skippers Overs and Unders:
Skipper runs overs and Unders in the business. All games come from Steve but he manages it. He sells these for 10-15k a month! That’s right 10-15k a month lol. These are just 5K bets and nothing special. If you go on a run and they tell you to bet big money you’ll make a ton. If you go on losing run they’ll try bail you out with personal play or you go bust. It’s basically roulette with your money. These are mostly just basic stat plays any capper could find. Complete rip off.
Personal Plays:
These are the top of top plays the games that they rave on about. The games that were bet on the money talks show.
10K
15K
20K
6 figure games
10K games are mostly trash. There up and down to be honest. You could go on a good run but money your paying for these you need to win. They claim 70% I never saw this more like 45-50%.
15K had a slight winning record while I was there. They are decent bets alot more stable and do win. You can see that these are decent plays but again for price your paying still a rip off. You can get games like this from legit paid handicappers. There’s no need to pay vip sports for them. Also you can’t guarantee that the bet your placing is 15k since most of their clients don’t get told this information. In fact after reading this they might start lying and saying there all 15k bets . You have no control I would not trust any of these guys. You will end up having to bet blindly which is car crash waiting to happen.
20K I personally saw no difference from the 15k bets about same hit rate nothing extra special.
6 figure very rare bet I didn’t get many of these the ones I did were hit and miss I was about 50%. That was big alarm bell for me personally since these are suppose to be his biggest lock games. If you can’t win these then what can you win? have you really got anything??
Conclusion:
VIP Sports is basically a bunch of sales men selling over priced picks. Some of their picks are legit the podcast has serious value. However the price they charge and way they sell the picks and get clients to go big or go home makes this massive rip off. The reason they have to keep signing up new clients is that the old ones go bust or split before they go bust! Think about it..
Only people that make money from these guys are are those that happen to get lucky on a promotion and go on big run then bank and split. Or your rich guy Steve personally manages and you get odd pick that has most chance of winning. Even in that case you will lose long term even as wealthy client as games are nothing special and commission means you would have to hit impossible strike rate long term. I would avoid like the plague. If anyone wants to doubt what I say please feel free to sign up to promotion for a week. Just post your experience after to help others from making same mistake. Remember the points I made and see for yourself. I know some people need to learn hard way I did.
