I grew up in Simsbury but moved to maine about 6 or 7 years ago.

The whale was gone so I had no reason to stay.

I video taped their last game and I watch it every now and then. Fitting that Dineen scored their last goal - and I think he got in their last fight as well...

I wish I could have slept over outside the staduim the night before like many of my friends did but I think I had a mid term exam or something - I think I was a senior in college at the time.

Lander finally posted something of value...BRING BACK THE WHALE. Best logo and best team song ever (Brass Bonanza) Went to a number of games over the years. Best tough guys too starting with Nick Fotiu and later Stu "Grim Reaper" Grimson.

Kelly chase was one of my favorites and Jannsenns was also

when they had that indian dude scott daniels with Jannsenns at center and chase as a wing that was awesome

also I never thought Id say this but Adam burt had the heart and soul of the whale as much as any of them


I remember laughing when kelly chase would egg on simpson the dude with the long hair from washington - and I was always suprised when kelly held his own

Simpson had him in height weight and skill but somehow kelly never ended up on the bad side of it when it was all said and done

damn I miss the team
