Rosenthal can not be trusted in the closer role . Martinez and Neshek are better options right now.

I agree 100%. Get Rosenthal the fuck out of there. He cannot be trust and he cannot throw his ONLY pitch for a strike. Local radio is floating the idea of Wacha. I tend to agree...but he hasn't pitched in awhile and closing a game 3 of the NLCS is probably not the best time to get his first live action.

I think you could see Wacha in Wainwrights next start. I would have a short lease on him and not hesitate to use Wacha.
He says he's ok but I'm not buying it. I would leave the closing to Neshek or Martinez.

Wacha hasn't pitched September and when he did, he wasn't look good. Neshek would be great but he's so valuable in the 7/8 inning. Tough call really.

To be honest, would really love to see wacha pitch in game 5 if the cards win tonight. Doubt that will happen knowing matheny but hes too valuable sitting on the bench. If we dont see that would love to see him be in middle relief followed by neshek and carlos martinez. Rosnthal has pitched too many innings at this point.

I don't like our chances with Matheny running the bullpen and the order this way. Peralta has to move down and Wong has to move up. The heart of our lineup is doing nothing because there's no protection.
