he'll probably play 3 songs . believe me , they will be 3 songs everybody knows .. if they arent , he might get booed...

You don't know Springsteen then, he will play one classic, maybe two....the other song will be off "Magic", most likely Radio Nowhere, which he has opened the majority of his shows with recently.

Good Call Rail- Great tune.

Nils will def be there and is playing great from what I saw last week.

More recent setlists have "Radio Nowhere" around 3rd on the list and no longer as the opener. I'll go out on a short limb and predict "American Land" will be in the brief set and probably the closer.

Bruce always gets his way when it comes to breaking precedent. He was the first on Saturday Night Live to play three songs, and he was the first on MTV Unplugged to play "plugged," and I think the first to play for 1.5 hours on that same show. I bet he will get more than three songs.

That being said, Radio Nowhere is not a bad prediction. I think he has to play Born to Run, probably as the closer. I think he will play one overtly political song, and American Land, again, is not a bad prediction. Or maybe it could be Livin' in the Future, which would kill two birds with one stone as it is both new and political. I can't think of any songs he has that mentions Tampa or Florida, so maybe he will give a hat tip to a region of the country that one of the teams is from ( I would love to hear, then, "Its cloudy out in Pittsburgh. . . "). I will go out on a limb and predict Cadillac Ranch and Dancing in the Dark, as they are well known and upbeat. Should be cool, whatever he plays.

Springsteen has grossed over $40 Million the 1st half of '08 on Ticket Sales and had a #1 album. Pretty sure most people that don't live under a rock know the Boss.

Not saying everyone likes or has to like Springsteen but asking for him to be injured and that he is a nobody is a little ridiculous.

Songs he'll do in my opinion.

Dancing in the Dark

Pink Cadillac

Born in the USA(all though this song may be a little to hard rock)

Born to Run

About as commercial as Bruce gets, which isn't much these are all great songs!

True about the liberal looney part, in politics he doesnt know his ass from a hole in the ground. Thats basic, but that aint y i hate him...It goes back further than that.
His music, well i never could stand it to be frank. To each his own and all but other than Born To Run which is a classic no doubt, his other stuff just bores me. I was a southern rocker, we didnt play that Jersey boy shit...But that aint y i hate him. It goes back further than that.
Here is the honest to GOD reason y i have hated Him since the 1st time i heard this song Glory Days.
He says he had a friend who was a pitcher and "he could throw that "speedball" by you.....Now wait a second, sing it over in your head but say "fastball" instead of "speedball".....It fits just fine doesnt it??? So y the F is he saying speedball??????? Ill tell ya why , cus that candy ass jersey bred mamas boy rich ass SOB doesnt know what a fastball is.........Prolly never swung a bat or threw a ball in his life. Sat in his room eating caviar and playing music at age 10 more like it...Id love to see him throw a football while he's onstage...betcha its EXACTLY like a girl throws..........Thats y i hate him. Before that i just didnt care for him. And ofcourse his concert tour where he was going to go to every city and GUARANTEED that Bush would lose to Kerry. Yea Lock of the Year huh Bruce?

What you don't know what a speedball is?

It's a cocktail of candy.

And his dad was/is a bus driver or cab there was no silver spoon in Bruce's mouth as a matter of fact his dad was dead set against his music dreams.

Yankee guy, the Dead haven't played as a band since 1995 the year Jerry died.

You may be thinking of Bob Wier?

Rosalita would be a great song to do. Born in the USA and/or Born to Run seems like a lock.

I don't want to think much about this now, because that would mean another entire football season will have passed and we haven't even kicked off yet!

Those of you who do NOT know who Nils Lofgren is, you've got 5 months to find out. He's one of the best unknown guitarists out there, with a solid body of his own work.

"Born To Run" is just about a lock to be played.

"Rosalita" has a chance to be played.

I give "Born in the U.S.A" about 1/10 of 1 percent chance to be played. I wouldn't mind booking all action on this one.

Does anyone remeber when Nils Lofgren embarassed Howard Stern in a game of one on one basketball? It was on the "E" channel sometime in the mid 90's.
