i didn't expect this performance at all and worst of all we learned nothing. there was no reason to have Gooch on the team let alone starting XI and playing 90'. The guy has played only 35-40 times since he left Standard in 2009 and really we needed to see what Cameron was all about at center half as he should be the kind of versatile guy (plays centerback, rightback, def mid) that need to be here, not a one dimensional Gooch
Also, playing Jozy today was stupid. He's making the 23 man squad and we need to see what guys Like Boyd and Agudelo have to offer....especially Boyd who is tearing it up in Austria. Giving him one minute and Jozy 85' made no sense.
Pretty concerned after today. Really this was a 4-0 beating if not for Howard and nothing was gained from the trip other than Gooch has no prayer of making the team...and I don't think he had any before the game started

WBA 8 straight at home without seeing 3 goals in a match against teams like Chelsea and Liverpool who are #1 and #2 in the league in scoring. But for whatever reason when United come to town this fixture produces goals. Last year was the famous 5-5 where United tossed away a 5-2 lead celebrating the title and the goals were more than simple as 10 went in on 12 shots on target. The previous h2h at West Brown were 1-2 1-2 0-5 1-2 in the last few years and no match, home or away, has seen less than 2 goals since 2005. As bad as we suck were are actually #1 in the league in ppg vs bottom half teams 7-1-1 (2.44 points per match) and #1 in away goals scored vs bottom half teams with 21 with an avg of 3.33 goals scored per game. Of course with the Ginger in charge he could put 5 defensive midfielder in the game and go for the 0-0 draw and that's exactly why stakes are low here. Moyes was shit his entire career facing West Brom failing to score in 4 of 7 away games but after that pathetic performance in Greece I think they'll play pretty well. United are 2nd in the league in 1H road goals and have also allowed 11 so looking for 1-1 HT and a goal in 2H. United's defense is a confused mess right now so they won't get a clean sheet. Only losing result in this one is 1-1
