I always liked this book though...I am sure Jones was his same old courteous self as he always seems to be one of the more polite posters....Why would any decent book not try to fix this for the customer is just plain bad business....and all for 100 dollars , just makes no sense...

Good Luck today Jones

I thought that I had traded Stewart away last week on my team?

Oh well, I have pretty much given up on the NASCAR contest. I know nothing about NASCAR and it shows

Have a generic customer service that may not allow for simple cancelations...I do remember feeling as if I was calling a generic customer service operator anytime I called into them....So I can understand this, I still think its wrong but thats probably the reason..

Mr Jones I was just thinking, after reading your thread and putting myself on the books side, not one person posted in saying , "Gee, that's strange they deleted a wager once for me". Can you imagine the outrage that would be created, everyone holding court trying to decide if his reason for a deletion is as good or better than the others. I think the rule " no deletions" along with how many requests there probably are requesting to delete now makes pretty good sense.

Guesser how can you say "I think it's the correct rule, and wish all books followed it, as well as not cancelling "bad line" bets"

WHEN THAT IS NOT WHAT HAPPENS ANYWHERE. THEY WILL NOT CHANGE BETS AND WILL CANCEL ONLY ONES THEY FEEL ARE BAD.

Sportbook.com has the most ridiculous software out there. You cannot wager to win only to lay. In other words lets say I want the over in the Laker game. Well with sportsbook.com you cannot lay 1100 to win a dime they will give you 1000 to win 909.09. Totally the most ridiculous kind of software around.

Guess what? They know it and agree but do not give a flying fvck about you or me. They are one of the largest and dont need us. (At least thats how they feel)

many of you have valid complaints and i agree with some of you

bottom line they have so many customers that to void every bet when a customer calls in says i meant a and not b hell they would need a whole other department just for voiding bets.

you guys just can't fathom the volume of customers they have and many of the little things here and there you guys want or think they should have is next to impossible and there are many other bigger fish to fry.

How can a book with bad software have such a large base of customers when there are a lot better books out there? Will they boot you for winning ? LT

That's how it SHOULD be, all bets should be final. I realize that's not how it really is, with books using the bad line rule to excuse and continue their sloppiness, because there's no incentive for them not to. They can just cancel the bets, claiming "bad line".

I am okay with this rule SO LONG as it works both ways. But we all know that most books void bets when they have made a mistake.

So with any ethical book it should work both ways, where a customer is clearly in good faith.

I like Sportsbook.com though their software is far from the best in terms of the confirmation screen, extra care is needed compared to say Pinny or Oly.

I can think of about 5 times in my 3 years online when I have backed the wrong side and called to void it, having first backed the other side too. 5 times the book was fine with it.

It is not my intention to belabor this issue. But I do want to put closure to it.
I just called for a complete balance withdrawal and told the clerk I was pissed. The clerk made the mistake of asking why I was pissed. So I told him.

After giving me the rundown again of how their software is unable to change any mistake, I asked him point blank what if one of your employees made an honest mistake and put up a bad line and you got pounded on it. Would your software in that case allow you to change the mistake? The answer without hesitation was yes.

Anyway quite a laborious process to get a neteller payout. He said 24 to 48 hours.

SPORTSBOOK.COM SUCKS!!! DO NOT SEND YOUR MONEY THERE. And that's the last of it from me unless I don't get paid within 48 hrs. Lightning fast ain't they?

i'll take the limit says you won't have money in 24 - 48 hours. it takes 24 - 48 hours just to process the withdrawal.
