Editing picks (or posts) in a contest thread is not good sportsmanship
Ask around and see what people say before you come in editing yet ANOTHER post in this contest thread
Take that for what it is worth

are you kidding me.. I edit that the morning after posting it to correct the milw. +195 to +185.. Me seeing a mistake and correcting it in the early morning for the honesty of the play has you up in arms?? Looks to me like team RR is looking for any excuses it can find to justify there miserable performance.. Stick to things that matter.. RPM, I assume that you mean that there will be no editing of posts whatsoever. After all, once it is edited we never knew if was a pick or just a statement. Please confirm.

I do agree that posts should not be edited. If someone forgets something in their post simply add an additional post for either game time or book info or whatever.
Bottom line, we are all stand up guys and this thing is for fun.

I am a gracious loser and will congratulate each of you in the event that we are soundly beaten. It should be noted again that Kodiak edited a post above even after RPM stated that no picks will be edited.
Maybe Kodiak is doing this to try and get a rise out of Rubber Roomers, or maybe he is doing it unconsciously. I have no idea but believe me there is nothing "personal" about this contest. I expect to be cordial to each of you at the conclusion of this contest, regardless of the outcome. Good Luck Gents

Rather than continue this debate in Offshore, I would prefer to resume it in the RR. I have renamed the thread (at least for the time being) to RR vs. MLB FORUM Tracker Thread. Hope to see you there.
I have taken the liberty to copy the relevant posts above into that thread. I would drop the issue were it not for the fact that we plainly do not see eye to eye at this time. I hope that we can reach an understanding regarding each other's positions in this matter.
Please let us limit this thread to the posting of picks and non inflammatory posting. Yes, I am guilty of the same without a doubt, so please join me in hashing this out in the proper forum. (our home turf, lol

IMO, the editing does stir up controversy. But anyone with half a brain realizes that they have in no way affected the outcome so far.
The worst sportsmanship displayed is accusing someone of cheating when it's OBVIOUS they havent.
