Sportbet: Is this true

Search
Buzz,

I left this post alone, as I was tired of you and your site. NOW I AM CALLING YOU OUT!!! You state: "Jake can blame SBR all he wants along with his 10-post poster ghosts"

Well, I BET YOU $1K (only 1k, but I will take whatever limit you want)THAT I HAVE NEVER, EVER, EVER POSTED UNDER ANY OTHER POSTER HANDLE OTHER THAN JAKE WHEN IN SPEAKING OF SPORTBET. I had another handle that I used when I spoke on industry issues, when I did not want Sportbet involved...the General and the Shrink know the handle.

The mods here at the Rx can verify IP addresses, if you would like. Once again, put up or shut up! I am sooooo tired of your bs, your lies, and your hidden agenda, so there it is on the table. Take it or leave it.

Halifax,

Tommy asked the client to call me, so I could speak with him personally. It is often easier to explain our policies over the phone, rather than via email. I like giving the client the personal touch, so he knows he is not just another number to me and our staff. So much gets lost when you speak via chat/email. Call me old fashioned, but I still like to pick up the phone and let people hear my voice. It is just more personal and professional, in my opinion.

Thanks for your time...SBR, looks like another one of your members has foot in mouth disease. Once again, you post BS that you have no proof of and is absolutely impossible to proove to be true...as it is completely false. Coming from you guys, I guess I should not be surprised.

Jake, call out all you want. Run your book any way you want, I don't care. But understand, tactics you use that end up creating nervous players that write to SBR are going to be reported.

The rest of the top shelf books seem to be able to honor payout requests without the upsale, players don't like it.

Jake,

Still I want to sign up with your book, but you having closed my account previously within 10 minutes, I feel a bit hurt. How are you going to compensate for this?
Personally I will be happy with a 50% bonus on a $1000 deposit. Honestly it will be worth the $500. I will only give you high class bets!
Let me know what you think! I cannot be bothered about the $250, so you must be more generous!

Might be naive but we're talking about a book that pays.....Might be distracted but we're talking about a payout request honored within a few hours from its request...Might be wrong but we're talking about a satisfied player who has received his payout and saved his bonus...still don't get the big fuzz...maybe I'm all three..naive, distracted and wrong...but again...where's the big deal to this ( non )story ?

Buzz,

You are a joke. You make a statement, I call you out on that statement, and you back peddle and try to mislead people by making more false statements. I paid the client and I paid him the same day, BEFORE YOU POSTED ON YOUR SITE.

The only delay was me asking him to call us, and for him to request $1300 instead of $1400, to avoid a $250+ in bonus penalties. You call that an upsale??? 100 measly dollars???? Listen to yourself!!! LOLOLOL. At least everyone can see your agenda now...it is as clear as day. Say the word, and I will contact the client and ask him to post, as he told me he would. He was not too happy with your post nor your bashing of us. In fact, his words were, and I quote..."they misrepresented my side of the story". So....just say the word, Buzz.

ACW,

I tried to make that up to you, sir. 50% up to 1k??? Let's discuss some options...shoot me an email to Jake@sportbet.com and I will respond in kind. I am sure, in your case, it is easier via email...but I would also welcome the opportunity to call you to discuss this as well. Please let me know.

Jake,

Lets not start talking small money!
Do you have prices on these olympic basketball matches? And I am talking about the female matches. I am a complete addict to the WNBA already. These women olympic basketball matches excite me even more. I am doing my complete bullocks on it! Yesterday I was still in Europe, but none of it is being broadcasted there. Thanks God I am now in Singapore and yes, they have some on TV.
How much action will you take? I lost over a 1m US$ on it already and I want to win at least some of it back.

Gentlemen,

This is now starting to get petty...

There is no need to resort to name calling either...

I believe gamblers have listened to both sides and they can draw their own conclusions...

Yea OK Jake, by copying and pasting your email to the player we somehow misrepresented you. At least your 10-post wonder posters buy that.

If we didn't inform players of this tactic we would be covering for you.

Some players may like being upsold and given a trick or treat with every payout request. Others are going to write us and we are going to post it. End of story.

Jake:

FYI, here is the excerpt from the E-Mail that makes me question the original intent of the E-Mail:

As you stated that you have read posts about our stipulations on the bonuses, I am sure that you have also noticed our feelings on situations such as this.

Does this sound like the intent is to save the guy from losing $250 in bonus dollars ? To me, it doesn't.

To me, it looks like you're reminding the guy that you don't care for customers who just meet the bare minimum in regards to bonus rules.

Your stance on these bonus issues is well known to forum readers, so I agree that this E-Mail doesn't really shed any new light on your book's stance. But I prefer it when people call a spade a spade ... and this E-Mail, to me, looks more like a reminder to the client about your book's stance on bonuses, rather than a good faith gesture to save him 250 bucks.
