If I hadn't bought the 3 pts and they don't hit that 3 at the end I end up losing $$. I bought 3 pts on an under about a week ago also and if I hadn't I would of lost everything. So why can't you grasp the concept of buying points on an o/u?

right but when do you know how many points to buy? Do you buy the max points? That just seems crazy everytime. Sure you won a couple times but in the long run probably not. In football, it makes sense to buy it to 3, or 7 for example.

But with NBA totals who knows.

you keep buying 3 pts on every total you play and report back in a month how much your ass has lost on juice. it will be absolutely brutal. There are no key numbers in basketball for a total, so playing -170 total bets for an extra basket is ridiculously dumb

I don't do this every time just when I'm not so confident about the pick and when I'm in a bad money spot. Like I said had they not hit that shot at the end would of lost everything which is counterproductive. 3 pts can go a long way but I understand what you're saying.
