holy shite the line is 110 million 3 day and it's favored at -130. I'm too lazy to open a new account with betwwts just for one bet, but, hell the odds are similar so you could actually go for a middle here. maybe give it a shot Hitman?

I like that over play at Olympic, I'm hitting it for 2.4 units... and I think I'll stick with that play for this week.

I'll probably check out Spiderman tomorrow or Thursday night, it sounds like it's gonna be pretty damn good.

o.k., what is up with these lines? Olympic has a 6 day line up, they state its from june 30th til July 5th, o.k. july 5th is a monday, that makes sense, I guess, since it's a holiday let's include it in the bet.... But Intertops is calling theirs a 6 day line, but they are saying that its from Wednesday til Sunday. Ummmmm that's 5 DAYS MOTHA****A!? Simple mistake, or are they trying to f*ck us over? Just when you start to trust a book, they pull some b.s. like this. Wednesday thru Sunday is CLEARLY NOT 6 DAYS.

fine, you're willing to give a book the benefit of the doubt.... I'm not. And I'm not gay... there is a troll here named urstupid123 and he claims to look like Heath Ledger and was trying to "steal" a girl from me here because she posted in one of my threads twice. lol it's a long story surprisingly enough and it's documented in "oren, I'm going to steal your Scarlett" in the Rubber Room lol. Anyways the icon is a photograph of myself.

Hey Gil how about you pay urstupid123 a visit and call him a homosexual wigger witht a brain the size of a pop-corn kernal that likes to bang sheep with all his free time?

Fighting over a chick, huh? I've only met one chick who was a gambling sharp and she was pretty hot.

I always give books the benefit of the doubt when they treat me good. There isn't a sportsbook out there that hasn't f-cked up their exposition some time or another.

you know I thought Tyler Durden at Box Office Prophets origionally posted in their message board that his 3 day prediction was 136 million, but maybe he meant to say 4 day, which is what they have up now. He has editted his post so I'm not sure if I read it wrong or not, at first, but here it is (he's predicting a 107 million 3 day, sounds reasonable to me, wish I had a betwwts account, I'd go for the middle big time, actually, it would be a scalp with the possibility to middle

well I don't expect to win this but I'm adding over 200 million +200 at Intertops for a unit. If Box Office Reports thinks it can get to 200 million, that's good enough for me...

this is chaos personified. at one time it was possible to get over 103 at -125. i will wait for anchorman(hoping for a 22-25 line)and the bourne identity sequel(an action/adventure gigli). in addition this sleepover film could be a real diamond in the rough. cant wait to see lines and theater counts on these three.

Hey Oren,

Do you know that 152 million is the all time box office record for a 6 day opening held by Matrix Reloaded. So you think Spiderman is going to break it by 50 million. lol.

Shrek 2 was majorly popular, and it had a 6 day opening of 140 million.

Olympic has their 6-day for Spiderman at 160 million.
over 160 -120
under 160 -110

Intertops:
175 million to 200 million +115
140 million to 175 million +140
200 million or more +150
140 million or less +600

Gil, "well I don't expect to win " <-------

hahah email Tyler Durden if you think it's such a far-fetched prediction. I'd be somewhat shocked to see it go over 200, but what the hell do I know? I bet the under for Shrek, remember?
icon_cool.gif

anyways, the only reason Spiderman 1 doesn't have the 6 day record is because it opened on a Friday and Reloaded opened on Wednesday afternoon. Spiderman 2 will also be playing in 500 more theaters than Reloaded. Reloaded was rated R, but obviously had stronger buzz. Also, the 6th day for Reloaded wasn't a holiday, as it will be for Spidey.

LOS ANGELES - At 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, the curtain went up on Sony Pictures' "Spider-Man 2," one of the summer's most anticipated films, which immediately rang up as much as $5 million at midnight screenings. That figure should put it on track for a potentially record-setting first-day gross in the $30 million-$35 million range.
