Shhhh, I'm secretly just trying to tick Fishead off, he was a homer but since his return it's been almost unbearable.

Honestly though, Funk hit in on the head - USF home field isn't anything to brag about. I hope this WVU number is low so I can pound it.

Wvu -7 1/2

Bingo. USF will be a bigger dog at home to WVU then on the road at Auburn because Auburn is just not that good of a team. They looked like crap against Kansas St. and then again this past week. Meanwhile, WVU is one of the top teams in the nation and I expect them to cover all their games up until the USF game. Btw, whoever that dumbass announcer was that said USF was not a commuter school is a total fucking idiot.

Not to change the subject but I disagree completely. I went to school in Tampa, although not USF - UT, and was in the area frequently so I'm familiar.

USF is comparable to UCF. It's an enormous school, even though so many people commute there is still such a massive student body (9th in America) that even despite the low ratio - more people are living on campus there than most schools that you would consider mostly on-campus. Also, most of the "commuters" are literally 5 minutes away in USF affliated off-campus housing in practically walkable distance. They actually have USF police and the same rules as on-campus housing but arn't technically considered residence halls.

Seymour was right in a previous post, as was Fishhead for apparently predicting this, USF does have the edge in recruiting with the city of Tampa over pretty much every school in Florida except Miami.

USF's defense looked nasty saturday night. They could definitely be WVU's toughest game, wouldn't be suprised at all if they knock them off.

I think that USF could easily become the second best team in the state of Florida in the next two years. Miami is a program in disarray, the fan base sucks, the program has a terrible reputation, and barring a recruiting stud of a Head Coach, I think they will become irrelevant soon. The program they can catch a lot sooner is Florida State. Florida State has ONE chance at a head coach after Bobby and if they miss this will become team #4 in the state. Tallahassee lacks the beaches of southern Florida and was not a good football school before Bobby.

fucnluc, I say that about USF because everyone I know that has gone there save one or two was a commuter and told me a lot of students were.
