Shot Doc. Sometimes it's better not to have insurance. I heard from a friend near the Lake County Fire here that FEMA is working first with those without insurance. Also FEMA has been much better running their programs because of how badly they treated Katrina losses under the Bush Administration. I hope for you that your house is at least livable while you wait for financial help. They say it will come, but not quick enough for most.

I have an interest following how well FEMA helps because someday we will need them here in California when the earthquake they say is overdue happens. No one here has insurance either. It would cost me almost $2.000 a year and has a 15% deductible. My thoughts go to you and your family and please, don't ever say you are sorry for not posting. Posting should be the farthest thing of importance in your life right now.

+1. I'm with Sandman here. Best of luck to you and your family during this rough time. Your RX family is here.

My prayers are with you and your family in this time of need. As cold weather would say "I hope you get the football money" and the bookie pays your bills. May God bless you real good

I just wanted to thank every single one of you for the kind wishes.
I consider each of you my friends, even the ones of you that I've had Alittle "Beef" With Through The Years!
That includes you Buster...I didn't realize you were so close to me here in SC.
I remember your kind words, when my mom passed away after a battle with Pancreatitis back in 2007.
I think you even confirmed her death via The Obits.
And yes, Buster, I've Been Delivering The Mail.
I haven't missed a day on my route.
You know the deal, "Rain, Sleet, Snow...FLOODS, The Mail Has Got To Go!"
Anyway enough of that sad news, now to some more......

My wife, daughter, and I are currently staying with some friends.
We lost a lot....food, storage building, JD Tractor Crushed, BobCat Skid Steer, Which Would've Came In Handy At This Time Destroyed By A 100 Year Old White Oak Tree! We now have 7 trees down.
^^On All Of The Above, Insurance Is Saying They Aren't Covered BC They Were Damaged BC Of The Flood, Not Wind/Storms!^^
Which I Think Is Such BS, But We Don't Have Flood Insurance!
Honestly who knows what all we may or may not have left at this point.
My family & animals are safe & that's all that matters at this point.
The other things can be replaced one day, eventually.

Thought I'd Check In
Take Care Guys
Love Y'all!
