Italy beat Burgaria but are eliminated. Although the Denmark/Sweden game appears fishy ending in a 2-2 draw especially with a goal in the 89th minute, the italians have no one to blame but themselves for playing passionless soccer in all three games.

On ESPN Gamecast the comment is

"Unbelievably, the scoreline that would guarantee to send Itlay out has happened. It's 2-2. Great work by the substitute, Sorensen fumbled and Johnson reacted first- Great scenes here for this comedy

Sweden are passin it around their back four! No pressure from ANY Denmark players

It's comedy"

The last line tells it all.

The Italy Bulgaria draw was +500 at most books

Wizzah... the Italy game did not end in a tie.

BTW.. does anyone know what the prop price was on a 2-2 draw in the Denmark/Sweden game?

Curious

Thanks

trust me if they were fixing the game and going for a 2-2 tie they would've tied the game before the 89th minute. funny thing is that the italians are always crying when something like this happens to them but they have done this multiple times in previous world cups and euros and no one has said a word....its their own frickin fault that they couldnt score a goal against denmark or hold the lead against the swede's

ps. if germany advances tomorrow look for them to play in the final.

I never said they did tie, I was just saying that if Italy would NOT have scored in the 90th (exact) min. it would have paid +500

Sorry Wizzah never saw the part of your post that said if Italy had NOT tied.

SS... 4 to 1 looks a little low but then again it probably got hit a few times.

Bozzi.. If the Germans make the final I would be completely surprised as they aren't even one of the top 6 teams still left. But then again given how this tourney is unfolding, anything is possible.

thats exactly my point HTRC,

they have never looked good in the group stages...then sneak in to the quarterfinals, win a couple of games 1-0 and they are in the finals

who wouldve thought they would do anything big at the world cup?

thats just how they play

I got 5-1 at Bowmans for this 2-2 fix!

This was better fix than the Finger Lakes race 1 episode!!!

Soccer what a joke.

Did you watch the game? I guess not since you are posting bullshit like this.

Anyone who thinks the game was fixed or fishy is a total ****ing idiot or a whiny v-neck wearing, camaro-driving overly macho Woodbridge resident, or both.

The Czechs (opened at 12-1

) have looked best so far. Nedved is the player of the tournament. I suspect a Czech-France semi will decide the winner.
