Not really Auburn was the favorite or small underdog in all of their loses this year. Auburn was 10 yds or an extra point or a stupid kodi burns fumble away from beating Georgia a week ago.
The last time Auburn was a double digit road underdog, they gave Florida their only loss last year in the swamp.
The only reason Alab stayed #1 rank because of unbeaten record. BSC people (oops, BCS) want to route for Auburn this game, so they can jack up Tex, OK, Fla and USC to championship game. Auburn offense will show up this week, may be only one time in this season, but they will play like nothing to lose and pressure is on Alabama in front of their home crowd. Time to knock out #1 rank.

Another thing for you guys to keep in mind is Alabama hasn't scored a TD on AU in the 1st qtr in like forever. Like I said before...I'm a bama fan and would love for them to blow AU out of the water. Its been yrs and they haven't beaten AU.

All I have heard the last week and a half is Florida talk. It's a given that Alabama is going to beat AU. At least that's what you hear from the fans from both sides. It is a dangerous situation for Alabama. I think the fact that AU has been garbage this year makes it that much easier to overlook. This game will make (it less awful) or break AU's season and Tuberville has a history of playing well in the underdog role.
However, Alabama has looked prepared and focused in every game this year. They haven't played exceptional in every game, but have come to play. Im sure the seniors and juniors really want to beat AU as well, but it just seems like UA has their eyes on the bigger prize.
I have expected AU to put it together and play a good game all season, but I really gave up on that after the WVU game. I just dont think they are any good and I don't expect them to win or play good.
The way to beat Bama is stack the box and stop the run, bring the heat and make Sarah Jessica Parker win the game throwing it under pressure. Easier said than done, but he's the weak link. He's just gotten GREAT protection all year.
My bold prediction and delusional homer dream. AU shuts down UA rushing game, forces JPW into a pick 6, and cocky Arenas muffs a punt inside the ten. AU up 17-3 at half. UA has the final drive down 20-17 and AU picks it off just inside the 50 to preserve the win.

all this talk. i love it. listen up, alabama in now way, shape, form or fashion is looking past awBarn. saban will not allow it. everyone in this state is well aware of how important this game is normally and now with the added bonus bama being number 1. look out for bama to wear awbarn out saturday. they will line up and run the ball early and often and the barn will stand no chance. dont even get me started on how bad their offense is.
