Three plays for Thursday:

NYM (LEITER) -134 over Mon (Biddle) - 1 UNIT - 10:05am Pacific
Leiter's control problems shouldn't hurt him against a team like Montreal. Control notwithstanding, he's been pitching very well. Biddle has also looked good as of late, but his mediocre stuff combined with his track record doesn't support a continued rate of success.

DET (JOHNSON) -132 over CHW (Shoeneweis) - 1 UNIT - 4:05pm Pacific
Both pitchers got knocked around in this same matchup last week, with the Sox winning on a walk-off HR. I'll take Detroit and Johnson again, as the hit well at home and against lefties.

TEX (DICKEY) -113 over Oak (Saarloos) - 1 UNIT - 5:05pm Pacific
Texas got its first look at Saarloos last week at Oakland where he picked up a win. It was not impressive, however, as he lasted only 5 innings and gave up 5 walks. Texas now gets to face him at home, and the familiarity should be beneficial to Texas' bats. I envision their offense leading them to a W in this game
