About 75% of the public does not know how to balance their check book. A gambler will always tell you about the big wins but when they lose they say I broke even they have no idea how much they have lost gambling in say the last 10 years. People don't even ask how much is that new car anymore or what is the interest rate on that loan they just ask what is my monthly payment.
