Doc seems to be getting decent information. Rising did have a doctor's appointment where a decision was going to be made. The team probably won't announce that decision until gametime so the Gators have to prepare for multiple Qbs.

?They only have one QB to worry about.
The others cant beat Fla.

What Utah needs to worry about is that Fla acquired several transfers and this team is better than the team that beat Utah last year.
My point was I bet it at -6 1/2. 6 isn't a dead number but 4 1/2, 5, 5 1/2 are in football and that's where the line moved through. Its kinda easy to say someone got a "bad line" when they make a bet and a starting QB is ruled out after the fact. Is what it is. I still like my wager even though I'm not as confident in it now as I was. I may wait, watch and add if it drops lower. They more than likely won't have their leader on the field but they have more than capable backups with the better "team" at home. We'll see how it plays out. Good luck to you in week one Doc.Guess my intel/source/whatever it might be…. was right. Even thought it wasn’t on ESPN or covers like the resident expert claims it needs to be.
That said I disagree a move from 7 or 6.5 to 4, which is where it is at many places, i even saw it listed as the consensus isn’t a big deal.. 6.5, 6, 4.5, 4… aren’t dead numbers. It’s a sizable move. The fact the line moved 2.5 to 3 points, in the middle of the night and morning when there was no football going on.. again tells me my SOURCE was pretty good.
The fact the line opened at 9 and is now at 4, tells me a lot. Not sure what it tells you, but it tells me a lot. If you got it at 6.5 you got bad line. That said bad lines do cover and good lines do lose. But I pride myself on trying to find good lines. Good lines over the long run win more than they lose.
This post was nothing more than giving out INFO… GL with your pick.
I’ll find out tmw, but I’m sure everyone else will too, if i know something well before kick, I’ll post.
FWIW the other guy commenting in this post that you mentioned doesn't really know WTF he's talking about lol. I just ignore what he says for the most part. Not worth the back and forth.Agree with all that. 4.5 isn’t dead though.
and agree a lot of people thought rising was a go, that’s why I posted what I posted.
I certainly don’t buy the fact that Florida is the better team. Utah at home has a good track record. And their style is one that fits the sec better than any of the other pac schools. However the jury is out on the capable backups at qb. The third stringer may get more snaps than the backup. Not sure how anyone can say they are capable… I guess you are hopefully they are, but that has yet to be proven
hopefully this post will serve notice that you can get good info without it being on ESPN, covers or the USA Today.
I’m told an offical decision on rising will not be made until the morning. If I get news that isn’t posted on ESPN I’ll pas it along
best of luck to you as well. Appreciate the mature dialogue
