Give me your Top 5 conspiracy theories that have been proven true.

Weapons of mass destruction a lie
Gulf of Tonkin a lie
If you didn't believe the false info at the time and believe the government was lying to you they would have said you are pushing conspiracy theories
Government assassinations
Overthrow of governments in other countries
How about this

Anytime you don't believe the state...the government you are pushing a conspiracy theory because what they tell you must be the truth, right?

Oh shit.....look at that conspiracy theory. He must be wrong, eh?
https://www.mercurynews.com/2019/02...romoting-a-jussie-smollett-conspiracy-theory/

I don't think you understand what a conspiracy theory is. A conspiracy theory is a theory outside of the official explanation. The official explanation in the Jesse Smollett case was that Smollett broke the law by lying about the attack. The Chicago police charged him with a crime because he lied about the attack. Trump, Jr. speculating that Smollett broke the law is not outside of the official version.

Um....the official narrative was originally he was attacked by racist white Trump supporters. Anyone who questioned his fishy story was said to have been pushing a conspiracy theory because America is homophobic and racist so it must be true You are god awful you know that?

No. You live in a weird world when you don't accept a police investigation as the official version.

I find it odd that censorship has become a political issue when it's something that should unite both libs and pubs.

I remember back in the 80's when "stop censorship" was pushed by everyone on the left through MTV commercials, porn stars and the hefner group, actors, etc.

now the left begs for censorship as long as it's something opposite what their platform believes. how free speech became a R/L issue is beyond me

As as example, you do not have the right to yell "Fire" in a crowded theater because of the harm it does to society.

Haha, ok, like the two things are remotely the same but carry on.

Making a video saying 2+2=5 and putting it on youtube doesn't harm society lol.

so you believe OJ was innocent, Oswald was the lone gunman, Duke lacrosse team raped a black chick, Jussie Smollet did not fake his own hate crime, and the LA Police did not use excessive force on Rodney King....for starters

good to know. you never disappoint...thanks for being you, McDoc

The narrative is at whatever time you are dealing with it. When it first came out you had to believe Jussie or it was considered pushing a conspiracy theory. I mean why are videos censored about Covid when we don't 100% understand it yet? We won't for years. So, why can't you have an opinion if the official version isn't completed on it? I mean if that is what you are saying. Who decides when the official version is complete. Even then does it mean it is right? Never question anything I guess

But at what cost to society?

Switching back to posting videos containing erroneous health information during a global pandemic, it is just outright dangerous to other humans to allow disinformation to spread. Back in 1918 a snake oil salesman could only do so much damage, but in today's world social media gives these quacks a platform to reach millions and do real harm. Thank god Zuckerberg finally is realizing his duty to the billions of people who use Facebook and taking a more pro-active approach to fake postings.

Don't you realize it is Putin's goal to undermine our country through destroying our political system through the spread of disinformation? And, by the way, it's working.

What you feel is erroneous health information and what I feel is erroneous are very different things. Who is FB and youtube to tell me what I should view and believe in?

The official police version of the OJ investigation was that he did it.

I'll lean toward Oswald as the lone gunman.

I've noted on here long ago that the DA in the Duke case was corrupt and was running a re-election campaign and not an honest investigation. The girl lied and the DA ran with it. The defense lawyers sought and found the truth.

I just commented that I believe the Chicago police in the Smollett case, which is the official version.

The LA police obviously used excessive force.

Good to see I'm still living in your racist head. Meanwhile, I live in reality, not some delusional world where everything is a conspiracy theory.

That was an example of a limit on the First Amendment.

Chuck Jaffe, the financial writer, had a column this week (that I can't find to link) that essentially says some topics are too complex for a layman to properly understand, and that following the advice of experts who have devoted their lives to the topic should be trusted and their advice followed. His point was investing, but he used examples of epidemiology and others from the medical field.

The global pandemic presents topics that are too complex for average Americans to "do their own research" and come up with their own plan.

When the story about Smollett being attacked first came out, the only evidence was what he said. The only evidence for the conspiracies you are pushing is what you are saying.

Well that's very righteous and pompous of him to say.
