Ole Miss would beat Oregon State with ease. They are a quality team that had WF beat on the road. And if you look at the point spread, USC was actually the bigger fav. And last and most important, Florida wasn't #1 and nobody has proclaimed their coach or team to be the best ever. Urban Meyer is FAR the better coach than Bozo the Carroll. If they were both on the open market, it would be no contest who got snatched up faster

Oh shut the fuck up with your bullshit. The perception is Florida had the easiest schedule wise into the title game of the top teams. You as usual choose to purposely ignore the fact Florida lost at home. When Oregon State finishes in the top 25 for the 3rd year in a row, I'm sure you will claim some other bullshit.

Maybe they can try the same argument they use for bowl games. UF just wasn't pumped up to be playing Ole Miss.
Also whoever said Houston Nutt is a great coach is blind. He is like 78 and 50 combined at Ark and Ole Miss.
And as far as Ole Miss being good and Oregon St. being bad. Ole Miss was 7-17 in the last 2 years while Oregon st. was 21-8 with two bowl wins.

No, I am calling out the hypocrisy from the SEC faithful. It is perfectly fine when they lose as 3+TD favorites at home yet not ok for a non SEC team to do it at a hostile road environment. It was a bad loss without question but Florida's loss is just as bad regardless of how some will spin it. BOTH were inexcusable.

I agree man....not saying it wasn't. I am the happiest person in the world they lost because it helps UGA. However, I don't think that it hurts the reputation of the team. As it has been said, Florida wasn't proclaimed as the guaranteed #1 in the country after their win over Virginia (who got smoked today by Duke).

Things will play out and we will have our national champion....

Try again homer, Florida was considered the favorite to run the table with the easiest schedule of the SEC title contenders. Don't try & change the perception after the fact.

run the table? that happens like 1 in 5 yrs in the SEC. if you watched the games instead of the ticker youd know this is the worst florida team in 3-5 yrs and i expect them to lose 2 more games at least

BUT...the fact is a 1 loss florida team is still in it, whereas USC's season is over - and i think thats probably what bothers you.

I'm just calling out the bullshit from SEC homers who come up with every excuse under the sun to cover up the fact Florida loss is just as bad as USC's was & to a team that has not even accomplished as much in the last few years.

Yet another sport I win in year in & year out. I made my money this year, no need to force plays on the playoffs.

Next.........

The point is not about how much you win or lose.. its about your bitchin for USC ... get over it. you guys got caught up in the Hollywood hype. Sanchez may have been injured. but bottom line, your teams got too cocky. Ohh you beat ohio st. woohoo, look what ohio st won by today? the big ten stinks. Old miss could be 3rd in the big 10.

...... next what ?? lol ... you have no back up here ... Your the SEC fan, not me ... but i am sensible and logical. You need to have a drink, you will never win an argument against the SEC, from fan or not of the SEC. Facts are just the facts. Some one should see how the Pac 10 does today, :nohead:

No one is bitching, I'm just proving how hypocritical & idiotic some are with their "convenient" analysis of the overall picture.

The losses aren't even comparable. USC got their manhood ripped from them, were dominated at the line of scrimmage.

And again, and most importantly, NOBODY has proclaimed Florida to be the greatest team ever invented, nor their coach.

No one here claimed they were the best team ever. They have as much talent & can play & beat anyone in the country when they feel like doing so.

Also the domination point is bullshit. They hardly outgained USC overall & where virtually shutdown in the 2nd H with their only points coming off an extremely short field due to Sanchez INT. If they don't get that late TD in the 1st H on what should have been an interception, they lose.

USC played horrible & still should have won that game. They had no business losing it, I will NOT disagree with that at all. Just stop with the bullshit of Mississippi being better than Oregon State based off a few games when you look at both teams, Oregon State has clearly been the better team in recent memory.

Florida will not be in the title game either.

Just think what the polls would look like if they came out after week 5 like they should. It would be quite different from what we will see on Monday morning.

EGD....you have to admit that you are causing a stir that shouldn't be one. Ole Miss lost to a ranked Wake team by 1, and to a Vandy team that is now ranked on a fuke fumble. OSU had lost to Stanford and Hawaii.

Come on man.

You talking about the same Wake team down to Navy 14-0 in the 2nd. And Ole Miss lost to Wake and then beat Florida?? OMG Florida sucks!!!!!! and so the the SEC. Great logic huh?
