Peyton Manning invested in 21 Papa John's pizza franchises in Colorado in the fall of 2012.

I think retirement will be just fine for him...

The man will never be hurting for money, lol, but at this stage, it's simply P-R-I-D-E. According to Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith this am on First Take, he's got two good years left, and for whatever reason I can't imagine, has a shot at the golden ring next season. I don't see it personally, they don't have the team, although I will admit, they're trying to buy him some decent weapons, i.e. receivers. And I think Elway still owns all those car dealerships, so no one in Denver is hurting, LOL.

I think it is 1 more good season and he knows it. An arm only has so many throws in it. 3 year starter in hs, 4 year starter in college and prob. has thrown 10K passes in the NFL counting practice if not more. Plus the neck issues.
If he comes back at 40, I don't know about that one. Not to mention, he would be closer to 41 than 40. during the season.

Not to mention, he can have any TV job he wants after the NFL even if it means firing a known guy. I doubt CBS would tell him no. He has to be worth close to 400 million if not more.

He won't be hurt like that, just lack of leg strength to throw off of combined with arm strength. This thing of him taking a hit being paralyzed is crazy. Thats like saying I had a knee scope this summer but if I get hit in the knee, I may never walk again
