Great, not good idea. The top powers in the world united to get Iran to shelve their Nuke aspirations. Best thing to happen for World Peace in a long, long time. All parties should be congratulated. Hopefully Iran follows through on their commitment, but there are enough carrots to think they will, and enough verification procedures to verify that they are. Hopefully the extremists here and in Iran, and elsewhere don't scuttle this. I'm glad Kerry was negotiating this and not Hillary.

What I like about this here deal is that America gives billions of dollars to Iran so Hassan

Rouhani can give some of that their money to the Iraian people so they can eat some food again

and pay their bills so the electricity stays on and this will make the people be happy again.

What I don't like about this here agreement is that it poses an immediate threat to the beautiful people

of Isreal and this be very bad!

I disdain everything else Obama has done, but normalizing relations with Cuba was long overdue &
this Iran deal wasn't really that bad!

Not going to matter. All this hurry up is so suspicious. Wait until you all see what happens next and then as soon as "next" happens you will have all accepted it even though you denied it would happen.

Billions of $ to finance the evil military machine of Iran, the rulers don't give a dam about their civilian welfare, so don't think the money is going to the people. The money is going to the military, to terrorism, to massively increasing its conventional military might. It will enable the dream of a Persian Empire. A arms race will start in the region, Saudi in particular will increase its military might and may feel it needs a nuclear capability to shield itself from the evil Iran. Saudi can obtain ready made nuclear weapons from Pakistan.

The only solution was a final solution, the complete military obliteration of Iran's nuclear sites from the air.

This deal is not a solution.

The solution has been moved from this Presidents term. He will be long gone when a President finally has to destroy militarily the capability. The coward is happy because this deal sees him out of office. History will show that this deal has been a mistake of historic proportion.

Where does this come from?. Iran continues with its ongoing terrorism and destabilisation of the region. There is no peace, show me where the peace is.

text: Obama’s news conference on the Iran nuclear deal

"As I said yesterday, even with this deal, we will continue to have profound differences with Iran: its support of terrorism, its use of proxies to destabilize parts of the Middle East. Therefore, the multilateral arms embargo on Iran will remain in place for an additional five years, and restrictions on ballistic missile technology will remain for eight years. In addition, the United States will maintain our own sanctions related to Iran's support for terrorism, its ballistic missile program, its human rights violations, and we'll continue our unprecedented security cooperation with Israel and continue to deepen our partnerships with the Gulf states."

"And no one suggests that this deal resolves all the threats that Iran poses to its neighbors or the world"

"Now, we'll still have problems with Iran's sponsorship of terrorism: its funding of proxies like Hezbollah that threaten Israel and threaten the region, the destabilizing activities that they're engaging in, including in places like Yemen."

"So this deal is not contingent on Iran changing its behavior."

"Iran will have pledged to the international community that it will not develop a nuclear weapon"

As naive as Nixon when the Paris accord North Vietnam promised not to invade the South when America withdrew its forces.

1973[h=1]Nixon announces peace settlement reached in Paris[/h]

President Nixon announces that Henry Kissinger and Le Duc Tho, the chief North Vietnamese negotiator, have initialled a peace agreement in Paris “to end the war and bring peace with honor in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.”

The actual document was entitled “An Agreement Ending the War and Restoring Peace in Vietnam” and it was formally signed on January 27.

Despite all the negotiation efforts and agreements, the PPA did not take effect thoroughly. As a matter of fact, it was violated blatantly as North Vietnamese troops and the Viet Cong gradually attacked southern provinces again. Two years later, after “Ho Chi Minh Campaign” in the spring of 1975, North Vietnamese forces captured Saigon and ended the long 30-year war.

WHAT PEACE?

Iran Will Not be able to develop a Nuclear weapon. Without this deal, they would. Pretty simple. The terrorism they sponsor with conventional weaponry sucks, and hopefully as they are allowed to re-integrate economically with Euro and US, they will do less, and eventually none of that. Remains to be seen. Worth a shot, since continuing doing what was being done was only making things worse.
There are economic incentives that can help make the new generation of Iranians a more peaceful generation of Iranians. But even without that, THEY WON'T HAVE NUKES. Only the truly insane think going into Iran Militarily is the "final solution". We know what happened with the last insane leader had a "final solution". That insane solution would start WWIII. This deal prevents it. History will show that this deal was a turning point in the Middle East, if it's allowed to take effect, unless the extremists and warmongers on all sides get their way and scuttle it.

OMG he actually fucking said this!

Crucial inspections are being delayed five years while the rest of the deal is implemented. American officials say the delay is a small price to pay for getting North Korea to shut down its entire nuclear program.

How utterly stupid can you be? Are you dumb enough to actually think that the Iranians will allow the UN to inspect ALL of their installations? Do you really think that Iran will NOT have nukes? People like you are the same kind of fools who vote for Obama and his Democratic cronies. The Senate and House will do all they can to ban the lifting of economic sanctions on Iran. Obama just wants to leave office looking like a hero, not the traitor that he really is. I am sure that you will lick Hillary's tail until the next election, and then cry when she and the Democrats are defeated. People like you do not deserve to live in this nation. You are the scum of America.

I stand with Israel, they're the only one that understands what's going on

I know Obama is a fucking douche bag, a clueless wonder, the least prepared man in the room

my confidence in the republican leadership is much higher than it is in the race baiting naive democrats, but that's not saying much

so it's Israel that has to deal with reality
