you guys do understand that nothing will ever be done because everyone in DC agrees with selling access, don't you? the revolving doors exist because the system takes care of its own which is why Deb Birx can vault from failed public health official to the CEO of Armata Pharmaceuticals, Dick Cheney from head of Halliburton to creating wars for no-bid contracts that benefit them, Jen Psaki to MSNBC, and now Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin coming in from Raytheon's Board. It's all about paying for access.
The entire system in DC is predicated on this behavior which is why you are stunned that nobody can see the corruption but they truly can't because, to them, political power is a get-rich-quick scheme with access traded for dollars. Everywhere! DOJ to law firms, Congress to corporate lobbyists, teacher's unions to the Dept of Education, defense contractors to the DoD, SEC to Wall Street, and of course political public affairs departments with MSM.
While Jim Jordan and MTG and Rand Paul and Matt Gaetz can parade around and warn the baddies that they're coming after them nothing real will ever come of it. At every turn there are more powerful people reminding them that their career, their ambitions, their reputation, and their sweet retirement package depends upon them doing nothing.
There is nothing to see, the white helmets are not in control, there is no storm coming, you won't be enjoying the show, and it won't be biblical
