People won't admit it but the majority here would be disappointed if their kid was gay; especially a half way prominent one in this Sam kid. Although if I were the white guy's kids parents he was making out with on draft day, that is even a bigger disappointment. Not only are you gay, but you are subserviant to the bbc. Kids probably been taking it since he was 15. Looked like a complete hardcore twink.

I think it shows we've made some pretty good progress as a society pretty quickly because this time his release was barely a blip on the radar, just as a released 7th rounder from a Practice squad should be. No pro gay and/or anti gay agenda, praising or lamenting his release all over the media. Just normalcy, a run of the mill football transaction.
I hope he catches on elsewhere as he does have some pass rush ability.

I agree it is just normal transaction, but disagree on progress. I would think most people are just tired of hearing about it. He had his 15 minutes of fame. Time to move on.
