Actually I think the reason political thread get thrown in main forum is more differing interesting opinions. I do like when lefties post. While I will still often disagree you do occasionally have a rare post that may make sense

I think if something major is going on in the world and its on many news stations and newspaper (i know i know, MSM), then its fine for the offshore forum.
But when people are starting threads on the offshore forum from a Q drop, What Alex Jones is saying, or a crazy right wing publication, it gets foolish. Plus if you are on the "left side" and disagree, you dont hear the end of it. Gets quite annoying actually. And this is on the offshore forum and NOT the poly forum.
If we can all act like respectful adults in the offshore thread, then maybe more things could stay up there? Until then, the moderators (who are doing a good job) need to moderate more like we're 2nd graders so we can play nicely together in the sandbox

Some of his stuff was "out there" but he brought a lot of sound content to the poly forum. It takes a level of world sophistication to distinguish truthful content from speculative content. But he stimulated thought. Unlike a few others here who only stimulate like minded lowlifes with their trivial, untruthful, personal attack bullshit.
And to those who only think that this is a gambling forum, you are wrong. Go to the track sometime and see what people talk about. Horses? Yes. And a ton of other stuff too. Anywhere people gather they talk about world issues and issues that affect their lives or their family's lives, or their friend's lives. Finance? check Politics? check Religion? check Sexuality? check Race? a whole lot less than liberals on this board would have you believe.
