How's that going in Houston with all those Katrina transplants?

I would guess that most have them have left. I know most of the criminals found out that things are different here in Texas than in Louisiana. I haven't heard of any Katrina related problems in quite some time.

I see this old man. About maybe 65-70 years old. And he is walking around the Store with one of those plastic Shopping Bag.
( the ones they put your groceries in )

Anyway, he doesn't have a shopping cart or anything. Just this bag and he sticking stuff in it.

So I'm thinking to myself, is this old man just walking around Shoplifting ??
or is he just putting stuff in a bag and then he will just go up to the register and pay for these things ?

You know, like to save the Earth kind of thing ?

So of course I want to see what he's up to. So I follow him ....
He sticks about 5 items in the bag and I watch as he heads towards the Cash Registers.

Yup. Sometimes when I'm at HD, I don't pay for screws or washers. I mean, c'mon. It just don't seem right to go to the counter to pay for a small baggie containing (2) 5/8 inch screws for 89 cents.
