EGD,

I have no idea why you are so low on UF. Their defense is shaky but their offense is more versatile than any in the nation. There is a reason why they will be odds on to win the championship this week.

Also, don't know why you are so high on USC. Their defense is amazing but their offense is really questionable.

I do agree with Utah though. Both Bama (who I really don't like) and Texas would kick the piss out of Utah. All three of the undefeated non-BCS teams are not good. Boise, Ball State, and Utah would all get the shit kicked out of them. Best non-BCS school is TCU and it isn't close.

Their offense is a joke. The players are not a joke (although Tebow is not a great QB in my eyes). The offense play calling is so predictable that I pretty much can call their play call once I see the formation.

They have had more overall talent than anyone they have played so far. This will be the case with Alabama but not as much as people think. Nick is definitely on the right track there for sure. I won't be surprised to see them beat them outright or barely lose. I don't see this blowout many are expecting.

Boise State would beat TCU although it would be a great game. TCU's offense is their weak point. Boise State can D' up when they need to. They would score on TCU although it wouldn't be as easy as against a team like Utah.

Utah was handed the win against the Oregon State, the same with BYU. TCU, now that one was extremely frustrating. You could watch & see how TCU was superior & proved it for just about 59 minutes. If they had any sort of a legitimate offense, they would have beat them by at least 17.

I can't think of one opponent I would take Utah over in the BCS even Cincinnati who would spank them as well.

Eh, I dunno. Looking at both Utah/BSU's opponents on paper, Utah easily has the harder schedule. FWIW BYU, TCU, Oregon State>>>>>Oregon

I don't know about Oregon State after the beatdown Oregon put on them. I am glad they won't make it to the Rose Bowl.

ACC champ (BC/VT) would not spank them. They're just not good enough to put a whooping on ANYONE.

Then lost to #4 ON THE VERY LAST PLAY AWAY FROM HOME, then goes on to win every game by 30+ points, wouldn't you think they deserve to go? Absolutely you would think so. 100% yes. This team happens to be Texas. They deserve it. Stop the hating and look at the numbers.

Thank you for telling us that team was Texas. I'm sure that I'm not the only one here that had no idea what team you were lobbying for.

I forgot about the ACC, shows what I think of them. A win against BC/VT would be their best shot although it wouldn't be that high.

BC making a BCS game would be the worst thing I've ever seen. They are worse than the Pitt team from 4-5 years ago that got housed by Utah in the Fiesta

Totally agree. The ACC really needs Miami/Florida State to return to dominance because outside of VT the rest of the conference isn't sexy by any means to the rest of the country.

VT shouldn't even be in this game either. At their pinnacles I would take both UNC and GT over VT. GT struggled early on with Johnson's offense, but that offense has clicked beautifully the more games they have played. UNC was a damn good team before the Yates injury, and his backup Sexton throwing 2 INT's in the 4th quarter with UNC up 14 on VT cost them that game.

Will tell you this right now and you might think I'm crazy. But the Atlantic winner next year will either be FSU or NC State. At the start of the year I thought NC State would struggle to win 2 games and had them as the worst team in the ACC, and early on they were. But as the season went on you saw them get better under Russell Wilson. He WILL be the ACC's best QB next year.

I see the ACC being a conf on the rise big time. Not only will NC State and Florida St be better next year, but teams like Miami, GT and UNC are only going to get better also. Miami could possibly be on their way back to greatness, GT has an amazing coach, one of the best in college football, and Butch Davis has really turned around UNC.

I have no idea if college gives away coach of the year awards, but if they do it has to go to Paul Johnson. He did the most with the least by far this year. That GT team should have gone 6-6 at best, and he got them to 9-3. Incredible job.

I agree with you both that the ACC is on the rise. They have a lot of talent spread out & are starting to get talented depth. This is one of the main cogs to being a true elite team. It would be a shock if Florida State or NC State does not win the ACC Atlantic Division next year.

I am telling you already we will probably get +500 odds on NC State to win ACC and +300 on FSU. Remember this next year.

To Mack Brown, Bob Stoops, Pete Carroll and Urban Meyer,

Win all the games on your schedule!

Sincerely,

1998 Tennessee
1999 FSU
2000 OU
2001 Miami
2002 OSU
2004 USC
2005 Texas

Until then don't be bitch and if you don't get into the National Title game, then don't take your team to a BCS bowl and tell your AD To have enough stones to back and attempt to force a playoff.
