Well procrastinated getting started but the recent rash of bannings has got me fired up. Gonna go ride my bike for an hour. Day 1 of the hour a day workouts. It's pretty hot and humid in the great state of Texas today, so if I'm not back in two hours...

Fvck it!!!!! I'm starting my diet/workout tomorrow....will post weight in the morning, can't start today as I just got back from lunch, dbl cheese burger with fries and 2 pints of fat tire....

My plan is to pretty much eat what I want with a little common sense mixed in, of course. For me the key is to exercise on a regular basis. We had a weird weather pattern here the last four days. Cold and rainy, so no bike riding for me.

So anyway, my official starting weight is 235. I think my home scale is about three pounds low, but it's digital and I don't know how to "zero" it. Anyway, it doesn't matter as long as I use the same scale to measure my progress. For me the actual number is meaningless. I'll weigh in again next Sunday.

Who else is in? IAG, Teddy?

Right on PG...you can do this!

I rode my stationary bike for 1/2 hour today. It's a start...late start..but a start... Waiting to see how the back reacts, and will work up to an hour if all goes ok....

I used to work out two hours a day til I jacked my back up....now it's next to impossible to get/stay motivated...

Extra tough when you have a desk job too....and when I turned 40 last year it seemed to get harder to maintain almost overnight...BEWARE TEDDY! Come Friday you'll weigh an extra 10 lbs. ...of course you have a more physical job so maybe not..
