The money will most likely sit in a state account and not in the moms account. Collecting interest for the state. Wonderful. Just like my gas bill they guess my usage last month so much that IO don't owe this month and still have a credit of $40 and they won't send me my refund. But if I am 6 days late they charge me $15. late fee. I should be able to send them a fee for over charging me.

The purpose of the Overpay notice is so that on the far back end of the deal (15 years from now) HACHE can legally cease making payments at the point where he's $900 shy of satisfying the full term of the order.

With all due respect Hache you sound a little ignorant. So you overpaid on your child support? Where does that money that you overpaid go? Yeah, it probably goes to support your child. If it went to support the child then you shouldn't care how much you overpaid. Paying money to take care of your child is not a shaft but you're right as a father.

It will come back to you but you shouldn't complain about providing money for your kid.
