There should be a mediocre starter QB salary range of about 8-12 million, and that's where guys like Fitz, a fringe NFL starter, should fall. Unfortunately when you have teams badly overpaying for guys like Ossweiler, Cousins, Bradford, Alex Smith, then similar, or better guys like Fitz want that also. The J-E-T-S were wise to try and hold the line. Ultimately I think they'll cave.

All of these average guys getting crazy money does not bold well for the Colts... They will end up paying Luck somewhere around 25-30 M a year. You get average starters that are making 15 M a year.
