To me overreacting is believing that a team will ALWAYS bounce back.....doesn't happen sometime
True, but it'll take a while to convince me that Brady is done and NE is garbage. If Mr Bookie gives me the opportunity to get them + at home in the regular season, I'll take it. Maybe I'll pay dearly for it, but I'll take it.
Same thing we learn every week. That people will VASTLY over react to one week's results. PLEASE Mr Bookie, make NE a Home Dog against Cinci. PRETTY PLEASE.
Guesser, you are right about many people overreacting to a teams loss, but the body of work by NE tells a different story. They just are not that good....and by being the Pats you are going to get the others team best punch. The problem with this game is Cincy has a legit D and NE has no O. The NE D can't stop the run, so as long as Dalton don't throw 3 picks I see it hard for NE to win. The only other way NE wins if Cincy is too rested off the bye and out of sync....which does happen.

I respect Brady and Bellichick too much to not think they will give their top effort this week, whatever that is. If they were 3 point Favorites I wouldn't touch the game, but if they are home dogs, it's tough to pass up. I think Cinn has the best roster in the league, but I'll still take a desperate Brady and Bellichick stewing for a week at home, over Dalton and Lewis.
I can't believe Alex Smith was actually asked in the post game conference if he "felt bad" for Tom Brady.
Are you fucking kidding me with that question?? hno:
