Smoke Pot, Get Cancer

Though, my mom and favorite uncle died of cancer, so on that end
of things, I don't think it's very funny at all.

Ive had 3 uncles die as a result of cancer in the last 4 years....

none of them smoked marijuana

Zit, nobody is laughing about cancer. It's your logic in trying to get people to stop smoking pot that is funny and why it's being mocked.

In basic english, if A then B doesn't mean if B then A.

A generation ago, every high school student would know this, now
US colleges are graduating students that still have no clue about
critical thinking and argumentation.

That's why none of my children will step foot in a US government school,
at least until college.

#1. I never suggested that pot is the only cause of cancer, only the
donkeys on here are trying to put those words in my mouth

#2. Only a complete fool (or dope head) can think that inhaling smoke
into your lungs on a regular basis cannot have serious negative
effects on the human body

#3. I knew that the thread would generate controversy, I was itching
to get a laugh at all the dopers that would *immediately* dismiss the
study in a total knee-jerk reaction, because it attacked their God:
marijuana. Any responsible person with a sane mind would at least
consider for one second that perhaps there might just be a link between pot smoking and testicular cancer, especially since it is a known proven fact that pot smoking damages sperm.

I think the point is this... Everything in some way can give you cancer. Not many will argue smoking marijuana or anything for that matter can give you cancer. But if you lived your life avoiding everything that can potentially give you cancer, you would be living in a hole somewhere drinking nothing but water. Although, I am sure a study has been done showing water can give you cancer too.

Reading the above almost makes me think you understand the difference between causative relationships and simple corrolary relationships.

You are looking at the nutritional chart on the back. Read it more carefully.

Read it again. There are other ingredients that have salt in them. Also read inside the parenthesis. The number one ingredient in Doritos is indeed, salt.

The answer to that would depend on whether using cannabis delivers medical and health benefits to the individual using it.

Hopefully we'll see a day soon when doctors and researchers within the USA are permitted to legally study such questions.
