Maps are updated within 1-5 minutes of an earthquake or once an hour.
(Smaller earthquakes in southern California are added after human processing,
which may take several hours.)

Who the hell fishes out a serious thread like this from years past to post some serious shit......who does that? I mean...If you got sumthin to say....don't be all paranoid that someone may have posted the same subject some 10,000 years ago and just go ahead and post a whole new thread about the sumbitch.
