I gotcha... now I see why the Killebrew question...:thumbsup:

Twins had some very fine teams in the late 60's ear;ly 70's that have been forgotten, they could play ball....I reember that old park with the unique batters boxes that led to the plate.

I know they battled Baltimore in the first two division series...I really didn't realize they were that good a team til i really looked at them...the late 70's teams were solid, free agency killed them -cheap owner. Then after that they were the worst team in baseball with all those youngsters in the early 80's, Viola, Bruno, Hrbek, Gaetti then Puckett...it was just a matter of time, they all grew up at once and by 87 :thumbsup: and then in 91 :thumbsup:

I wish they played outdoors though....remember they almost had their team taken away because Bud Selig is a freakin moron.
