Can Zay Jones Be the Top Rookie Wide Receiver in Fantasy Football in 2017?
Over the last three weeks, the Buffalo Bills have had a teensy bit of weirdness at the wide receiver position.
On August 7, they signed veteran free agent pass catcher Anquan Boldin. On August 21, Boldin retired.
On August 11, they dealt their top receiver, Sammy Watkins, to the Los Angeles Rams. Later that day, they acquired wideout Jordan Matthews from the Philadelphia Eagles.
On August 13, during his first practice with the team, Matthews fractured his sternum. He might be back for Week 1. Or not.
All of which means Zay Jones, Buffalo's prized rookie wide receiver, has a chance to have an immediate impact in 2017.

Thats awful, DJ is a 1 man wrecking crew thats on record saying his personal goal is 1000 rushing and 1000 receiving yards this season. I think he could put up one of the biggest fantasy seasons ever this year if he stays completely healthy. I would honestly be embarrassed if i was that guy who took ajayi. Christ even if he is a huge dolphins fan even if you trade down to 4 he is 100% there. You could trade to 8 with him still almost a near certainty still on the board

Ajayi will be there in early to mid round 2 in every draft. The guy that took him at 1 is a disgrace. He has had two good games in his career and is a huge injury risk.
DJ is a beast and should be a consensus top 2 pick. But i wouldn't put too much stock into him saying his goal is 1000 and 1000. The reality is that teams will be much more focused on stopping him this year in arizona. That's one reason I targeted Fitz on draft day. And DJ had an ungodly amount of touches last season that could possibly wear him down a little. The vast majority of Fantasy #1 picks DO NOT finish th year as the number one fantasy player. I could be wrong but I believe the last time that happened was back in Ladanian tomlinson days.
I remember I drafted Chris Johnson the year he was saying his goal was to rush for 2,000 yards. Pretty sure he didn't even break 1000. Was a total bust that year
On DECEMBER 14, THE NFL had 75 player positives for COVID in a 2 day span, ALL OF WHICH were not COLE BEASLY...
Cole Beasley, Dallas Cowboys
ADP 13.12
Cole Beasley caught 75 passes for 833 yards and five touchdowns in his first season with Dak Prescott at quarterback. The Cowboys are likely to pass more in Prescott’s second season and the team could see a significant increase in pass attempts early in the year depending on Ezekiel Elliott’s suspension. Beasley should benefit from the increased pass attempts in the Cowboys’ offense.
