Oh yeah. The line is crazy. O/U is a bit too high making me think it goes over and I def like NYY to win but not paying -170. I could be way off on Balt. but I just dont see any real elite players on their team. Usually you need at least 1. Adam Jones is thier best player and he is very good but may not ever be in that next class up. A lot of good bats and a lot of better than expected pitching. A team like this that gets on a roll can go far but usually gets stopped. NYY are a bit beat up but still better all around. Great price on Balt if you like them but I dont think they will win the series, but Im not betting it, my numbers on this game are just..odd. 1st game of any playoff game this year that looks like this and I dont know what to make of it exactly

SF had Elite pitching in 2010. Lincecum was already a 2x Cy Young Winner at the time. Matt Cain was an All Star and on his way to becoming great, Posey won ROY and is certainly on his way to being one of the best catchers ever.....When my Patriots won the SB with Tom Brady, he was nobody but went on to become elite. What I am saying is nobody on Balt, IMO, Not 1 person, is going to change the league. Adam Jones is their best player. Balt is scrappy and very timely but if they do it this year, it would take a lot. Dont think Balt is an elite team. These days, I think teams need at least 1 great player. 2010 Giants had a few, I just dont see the same thing in Balt is what I was eluding too

I understand what you are saying. How many elite players does Wash have? They are down 2-0. How many elite players does NYY have? The are about to be down 2-1. How many elite players does Cinci have. They are tied 2-2 after being up 2-0. My point was TEAMS win ball games...Not teams that have a certain number of elite players. BTW it wont take alot for the Orioles to beat the Yankees in the series. They were neck and neck in their season series and they are out playing them in the series at the moment. maybe I misunderstood you bud.

Well NYY have MANY. But yeah, I wasnt saying they dont win ball games, I maybe didnt specify, what I meant is going all the way. WS Champs. Wash has Stras and he aint playing, possibly Harper in the future. But Wash aint winning this year. Cards have many, Sf has a few, Cinn nobody really but they are done too. I think my whole point was winning the WS and I didnt state it is all and really, it's only my take on professional sports is all. Love sports debates on things like this though, and I respect your opinion as well VIP. Not saying it cant be done with nobody but usually, it doesnt

Good point, so the 2002 halos are out, they had the monkey. Amazing how they started to hit once they brought that thing out. The rules for showing the monkey were followed closer back then, down by 1 to 3 runs after the 5th inning after a guy gets on base.

Percival was an elite closer at that time. And I think Erstad was an all star player. Salmon was past his prime.

when I think of an elite player, I think of a game changer. Percival was towards the tail end of his career. 2002 Angels had no one.
