The problem is posting accurate information. The free half point is still around, I know it is only one day a week for basketball but that is accurate. Then right away it comes to the mods are wearing blinders for Skybook, when the truth is we treat all books the same. All of the moderators work hard to keep the site running smoothly but sometime we have to defend a book when false accusations are made. The same thing goes for profane name calling of books for one reason or another. All we ask for is truth and civillity when posting problems with books. That thread offshore was doing fine until a poster decides to post inaccurate information, then it's the mods wear blinders, and the free half point is useless and withdrawal fees are ludicrous. The original poster voiced his displeasure with Western Union and Money Gram fees, the fact is these fees are expensive and no one likes to spend money on them. That is the new reality everywhere, not just Skybook, since Neteller stopped dealing with US residents. I know for a fact that books are looking for the most economical way possible for players to move money but it is going to take some time.

There is always someone complaining about something and I really don't have a problem with that if it is a legitimate beef. Everyone knows moving money is a problem these days and I know for certain that Skybook is not going to worsen the situation by trying to make money from funds transfers. Earlier this week it was BetCRIS charging for book to book transfers, nothing wrong with that discussion but there is no need to call them fuckheads for doing it. These books keep the site afloat and at least deserve a little curtesy. You would think veteran posters would understand at least a little bit that the Rx. and all of the other forums needs these books to stay in business. To arbitraily criticise a book just for arguments sake does no one any good.

Skybook and every other book still open for business should be bending over backwards to retain customer relations with US clients.

The fact is Skybook and all of the Rx advertiser books are doing everything they can to retain their customer base. What they do not need is needless bashing from websites they pay serious money to advertise on. Anyone with any business experience at all should be able to grasp that concept. Posters make accusations that are just not true and in those cases The Rx. is forced take whatever action it sees fit. Instead of working together trying to help the Rx. get through this difficult period some posters would rather damage the reputation of it's sponsers with their own uninformed ideas. Skybook has been very accessable to any Rxer with a problem there, Skybook management is in no way trying to make money on withdrawal fees and to insinuate that they are is complete bullshit.

Players should communicate with any book when they withdraw funds and find out what the best method is for them in particular. Bank wires for higher amounts are reasonable (around 1 percent of the amount withdrew).

I am locking this thread. Further argument about the subject here in the RR is pointless. No one is being forced to play at Skybook.

Thank you, wilheim..
