Don't try to justify it by saying I'll still like the book even though a HUGE part of it is now ruined. Seriously, there's no justifying it, I don't care if you got your book ruined by someone, that has nothing to do with it. And you really think I'll like the book the same as I would if I didn't know that? Fuck no, just like I'm sure you didn't enjoy the Star Wars book after that part was ruined for you, just like millions of people didn't enjoy or even watch last year's WSOP after Jackpot Jay on ESPN spoiled it by revealing the winner. That shit is unjustifiable. And wow, other people got fucked over too?!? YAY, THAT MAKES ME FEEL SO MUCH BETTER! You know, cuz I find happiness and comfort in other people's misery.

That's seriously so fucked up. Couldn't help it? Give me a fucking break. What an awful thing to do. Jesus christ.

That's awesome Rob... I am glad you did that... You ruined Harry Potter for a 21 year old college student... Man that is a great link. Some of the responses are classic...

Skins - I fully believe you and Juice are closet homosexuals...<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Imagine if that kinda shit happened to you. Hey Ku, imagine if the Hoyas made the NCAA championship game, and you had to miss it, but you had it taped...you try your hardest not to talk to anyone, hear about it, etc. but them some deuschebag calls you up or someone leaves a note on your TV at home telling you what happened. Would you find that funny? What about you Tulsa? What if that kinda shit happened to you? Ku, you just said you were fucking pissed when your friend ruined the end of Maxtrix Revolutions. So this is somehow different? No, it's not. Gimme a fuckin break.

It's not even that I'm a huge Harry Potter fan; I'm not. But I did plan on reading the book eventually, so yeah thanks I appreciate it. And it's just the principle of it that pisses me off. Why would you blatantly go out of your way to be a dick? If you people can't see that, then something's wrong with you, regardless of my sexuality. Good job moderator.

I know you are mad, I think it's funny you are so bent but I do say that I like you enough that I'm sorry you're so upset at the same time.

I have no idea what that all meant, but I saw your reaction and I realized it was a key plot point and I just couldn't help myself.

Now, the good news is it happens EARLY in the story and the rest you don't know what is going to happen then...right? FROM page 606 on it's all new territory!!! tulsa

Yeah, it's hilarious. Sucks that you wasted even those few minutes feeling bad, i mean what was the point? You already ackowledge and are readily aware that you're a dick, so that was kind of a waste of a few minutes, huh?

Sorry Clip Joint, I'd try to help you understand by giving you an example with game 7 of the NBA finals getting ruined by someone if you had to miss it and tape it...but we all know there's no chance in hell they ever even make it to the NBA Finals, so that wouldn't be a good example.

And Ku, it IS funny that grown men read children's books...almost as funny as grown men who still live with their parents, right?

Gotta be able to take it if you're gonna dish it...you're still my boy, though.

Sorry, didn't know...I was just messing around, like I said. You can have Juice buy you a couple beers at happy hour today on me. Didn't mean to offend you. But yeah, oh well. At least you got some laughs at my expense today.

MAN COMMITS SUICIDE AFTER LEARNING HARRY POTTER SPOILER

‘I No Longer Have a Reason to Live,’ Says Despondent Potter Fan

A rabid Harry Potter fan took his life yesterday after inadvertently learning a plot spoiler from the soon-to-be-released J.K. Rowling opus, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.”

Jude Ralston, 32, of Hudson, Ohio left a suicide note indicating that since overhearing the plot spoiler at a shopping mall earlier in the day, “I no longer have a reason to live.”

Family and friends who gathered for a candlelight memorial outside Mr. Ralston’s house remembered a man who seemed to live only for Harry Potter – and wondered if they could have done anything to prevent his tragic fate.

“When Jude got that vanity license plate that said ‘Hogwarts,’ that seemed harmless enough,” said Polly Clovis, who attended Model U.N. with Mr. Ralston while the two were in high school. “But when he started wearing that wizard hat around town, we really should have seen that as a cry for help.”

According to friends of Mr. Ralston, the Potter fanatic had done everything in his power to protect himself from stumbling across Potter plot spoilers, even disconnecting his computer from the Internet and avoiding his favorite vintage comic book store.

Ms. Clovis said that she hoped Mr. Ralston’s death would cause federal authorities to tighten the flow of Harry Potter plot information to prevent similar tragedies from taking place.

“In my heart I believe that could have saved Jude’s life, even if he didn’t have one,” she said.

Elsewhere, President Bush called the jailing of a New York Times reporter “a positive step,” but warned that many other reporters were still at large.
