Nice try, but, as usual, totally missing the target. My remark was not about state or national polls but about your assertion that a Democrat will lose if he leads the polls with 5% or less. You simply claim that Democrats will generally underperform by at least 5% compared to their poll results without giving us anything to back this up, probably because you just make such things up as you go.
If it is "classic left wing tactic" to call your BS then so be it. :)

Again you are confused due to a lack of reading comprehension.

It gets old...I'm embarrassed for you...and yet you just keep doing it.

I didn't make any comment...I simply posted an opinion...and I properly cited the link to the article.

You misread...again..and then went off on another knee jerk attack without thinking.

MJ, if you really believe what you write I can only feel pity for you.

You posted an article from a Blog. There is no data in it that supports the author's opinion that Democrats generally underperform their polling results by at least 5%. I even followed some links in the article, but again - nothing.
I won't judge how correct the polls are, but it is painfully obvious that the statement
In general, if a Democrat leads by less than five points in the polls, he loses.
is just a wild assertion for which so far nothing has been provided in the way of proof. Which is, unfortunately, exactly the kind of argumentation we have comne to expect from you.

Well...at least you changed your tune Preussen...and now you admit it was a blog that said it...and not me.

Thats a good start...and thats exactly the type of thing that always gets you into trouble.

Slow down....read...understand...avoid knee jerk reactions and partisan gotcha's.

It's the writers observation that polls have a strong tendency to overpoll...he is not alone in that observation.

You can agree or disagree...if you provided some proof the author was wrong, you would then have a much stronger argument than your knee jerk partisan reaction that adds nothing to the debate.

You are truly unbelievable. :)
When you post something which isn't obviously just a quote and which is littered with your emoticons it can be safely assumed that the post expresses your own opinion.

And if you (or anyone else) make a wild assertion, it is you who have to prove it. And as usual, you cannot.
This is exactly what my first post was about. Nothing knee-jerk or partisan here.

Btw, into what trouble do I always get? I cannot remember having lost a single one of our encounters. :)

Are you completely nuts or just obtuse?

See post #1. Clearly the article is cited, in standard form at the bottom of the article.

And just because YOU say its a wild assertion doesn't mean a damn thing.

For one thing you can't even read...and you provide not a shred of evidence for YOUR wild assertion.

Whatever...its impossible arguing with moonbats. Simpy ridiculous.

I'm sick of shooting you down, over the most basic of things, like you not comprehending a cited article.

Sorry...but damn. Give it up man.

It's really funny how you hang yourself. :)

Copying only snippets of an article without indicating that parts have been left out while inserting several emoticons is definitely not a standard form citation. Actually this doesn't even matter, but I see that you need to discuss these points as you can bring nothing substantial.

And just repeating that I have not proved my assertion is nothing short of ridiculous in light of the fact that I haven't even made an assertion, I merely expressed my doubts about the correctness of your assertion.

Show me one instance, just one, where you have "shot me down". :)

MJ, how does it feel like to be laughed about by everyone? Or do you even still believe anyone takes you seriously?

I'll simply remind you that this discussion started with you spouting off about "my" assertions.

You were confused from the start.

Thats the latest example of you being shot down.

Now all you have is your same old lame partisan attack crap. I expect it to now get personal...you are following the moonbat script perfectly so far.

:103631605 Give it up...drop it...whatever. I don't dislike you...lets keep it that way.

Exactly. And you have done nothing to either back them up or distance yourself from them.

Thats the latest example of you being shot down.

Erm..., what? I'm being shot down by your refusal to substantiate the wild assertion in your original post? What are you smoking?? :)

Okay, let's end this here, your replies already get boringly repetitive, like they always do when you know you cannot back up your assertions but just cannot bring yourself to admit it.

I must have burned through half a forest worth of Kleenex on her back in the day.
