IMHO....this is the reason most people won't leave. I say the resourses are in place now that folks can evacuate WITH their pets. I wouldn't leave my dog. I would probally be shot because I had a loaded pistol and wouldn't leave unless they could take both me and my Rotty.

There is 1 huge shelter in gonzales (20 mi N of N.O.) several more that i am aware of..there are no animals being abandoned or anything else that i know of....yes there are lots of them running around N.O. but after drinking poison water for a week they will be dwindling fast....all this hysteria is nuts...we have 18 wheelers in baton rouge right now riding around the city with stuff from all over the country with nowhere to bring it to....the shelters are emptying, people are finding a place to go....NOBODY HERE NEEDS ANYMORE WATER!!!!!!! WE ALL HAVE WATER OK??????? !!!!!!!! man we got so damn much water here if it all busted at once baton rouge would go under..lol
theres so much food here already its being thrown out....

people need to slow down......its not a bad as the t.v makes it out to be...people are already rebuilding. their not all standing in a line looking for govt help...in fact the only ones who are are the ones who nothing else but govt help..the common working man is doing just that..working, rebuilding, getting their lives back in order....the people getting those 2000.00 checks today, it wont be used to put there life back in order, there was no order to begin with...they will all go back to govt housing, to await govt chks to eat govt food and vote democratic....
