At least Siemian is cheap, cutting him will cost nothing. Texans threw a lot of cash at a career backup, and will suffer for many years bc of it. Anyone who watched Osweiler at AZ st knew he was a bum, guess Bradley didnt bother to review that tape.

If the Texans can move up and land a Watson in the draft, look out. They have the pieces other than that position.

It really impressive how well they have done the last few years with the list of scrubs they have had playing qb. I knew asswieler was a mistake said after they signed him they still in same spot as last year a qb away. Didn't think he was gonna be even worse than the guys they were picking up off the street last season but somehow he has been, lol..

Can they afford him without sacrificing other parts? Not sold on Watson as an NFL qb.

So I think Watson is going to be like Russell Wilson as a pro - and I'm hardly the first one to make that comparison - the thing is, I don't think he comes at that round discount that Wilson did with the way QB's insanely rise up the draft boards. I think he can be a good NFL pro if he lands in a spot with a good defense, solid coach, weapons. Texans would be a nice spot for him. Or Denver for that matter.

Watson & Kizer are busts. Only one who may have a decent career will be Kaaya. 2017 is a terrible year for QB prospects. Smarter to wait for 2018 when Rosen, Darnold and Browning can declare.

The best throw he made all day was the one he threw to the Pats defender at the goal line.

So glad John Elway is getting his comeuppance for thinking he could win with any terrible QB. Shoulda kept a veteran QB like Sanchez then maybe they'd actually make the playoffs this season.
You can always tell when someone has lost a bet when they start a thread like this. Mark Sanchez who once famously lined up behind a guard to take a snap .... 86 touchdowns while throwing 84 interceptions and losing 24 fumbles in 76 NFL games. Ya, he'd have taken Denver straight to the Superbowl.

Rosen will be better than every QB drafted in 2017. Guaranteed.

They are only truly fucked for one more season after this; in 2018 if they cut him there is limited dead money --I think 5 mllion. So it sucks, but will only hamstring them for 2 years in a major, way.

Although this is only in terms of cap space; in real cash flow it could make the owner less likely to spend much longer than that. People, me included, forget about "real money" spending a lot as we focus on cap space.
