OUCH!!
But it ain't right.
The rubber room was created to keep the BS in one place. We should be able to rip on who we want here, an Old West kinda place where anything goes (other than what some may view as racism and comments about ones family, which has been discussed. Other than that, it's OUR playhouse in which cops are not to trespass. Is this part of the new Rx version of the Patriot Act?

Accorging to the logic of The General, we are not entitled to an explanation for anything. Ken owns this site and therefore can delete, lock, etc. as he pleases.

To hope for an explanation in this situation is akin to hoping for a Cubs or Red Sox World Series victory. Probably aint gonna happen.

Guys, relax. The bit about the inmates running the asylum and no moderation down here was never true, doubt it ever will be. Peep started it with that intention yet he ended up banning some of his enemies in the RR almost from jumpstreet. Truth is they probably deserved it if I remember correctly (think they were some real fruitcakes) but the point is it has never been a completely unmoderated forum. It's not something we just started here.

Now having said this I do believe Lou has a fair question about closing the thread and I will pose it to Shrink when I talk to him next. He's got some pretty serious personal stuff on his mind right now that has nothing to do with the site, he may have even forgotten he did this. Either way I think this does deserve a response. I hope you guys can understand this. I give you my word I will bring this up to him as soon I talk to him.

Just hate to see so many talented posters leave, some even seemingly run off. Then Ken locks a thread in the Rubber Room 'cause he's tired of reading about it.

Then, to top it all off, The General, in his infinite wisdom, comes in with his "its kens sight, he can do what he wants" (spelling and punctuation errors intentional). General Pete brags about the 3307 people who have signed up since beginning of the year.

Then General Pete invites anyone who disagrees with the powers that be to leave and don't let the door hit you in the ass.

Guess that just about sums it up, Journeyman, at least for the condensed version.

I think The General may have been joking....lately no one can take any good natured ribbing.... The General very seldom says anything derogatory....Maybe he's tired of trying to please everyone when it only makes things worse...Please one than the other is mad and vice versa....Best to ignore, I have finally learned to just move on when that happens....
